What a beautiful place!! We danced our faces off, hiked, made it to the store by 6:00 PM, ate all the delicious food on the island, met some locals, went to the beach, got "lucky" at the liquor store, enjoyed drinks on the deck in the sun, made friends (stalkers) on the ferry and look forward to a return to this wonderful cabin. Family gathering to celebrate a 75th! Everything perfect including (suprisingly) the weather. Really appreciated the Xmas tree and lights and top-of-the line appliances and cookware!

This beautiful house on this beautiful island was an amazing, comfortable stay. The bed downstairs is the best! My friends and I enjoyed some hiking trails at Mt. Parke and a nice walk to Campbell Bay. Check out the bakery...they make delish homemade soup :) Can't wait to come back and stay here again!

Five women artists, four from Ontario; and were we not inspired! As well as being very comfortable. The captain of the boat,our nephew, toured around Mayne Island and we painted all day on his boat. It was grand! Thanks to Peter. PS Dear Peter: Oh my! Oh my! Oh my! Beautiful home. Beautiful island.

June 16-20 Enjoyed our thirtieth "Mother's of all retreats", originally known as "Mother's Day Retreat". The "Fab five" had a great time on the lovely island of Mayne. Your home/retreat offered us a beautiful place and comfort to enjoy fine dining and good company. Too bad Mayne Island doesn't have more water. Maybe a dry sauna and a bucket of water would appease the yearning for the spa factor. We thoroughly had a wonderful time. Thank you so much. "Fab 5"

We spent our Christmas holiday in this house and we absolutely adored it! Every detail in the design and the decor of the home is impeccable. Great taste and no detail is too small for the owners. The home is even more beautiful than it is in the photos! We instantly felt comfortable and relaxed here. The only downside was having to leave it all behind at the end of our vacation! We are already planning our next escape to Mayne Island and intend to stay in this gem of a chic vacation home again.

We have had the most wonderful time in this luxurious, gorgeous and first class "Tree House." The house is well stocked, beautifully decorated & situated in natural surroundings. Thanks for the experience.

Lovely, cozy place! Nestled in the forest; having the mist float through the trees and the refreshing fragrance of ocean and cedar - fabulous! Here are a few thoughts for names: 1. Whispering Pines 2. Hillside Escape 3. Cougar's Cove (no actual cougars on the island - like cats).

(stayed two weeks) We have loved our third holiday on Mayne Island. This house has been perfect for us. Alas, we're still pretty weak at pool even after two weeks of play. We've all loved playing the piano too. Looking forward to another visit next summer.

Our second time to this amazing cabin on a perfect island. Bike rides to the lighthouse and around the island. Hours spent exploring the beaches, parks, galleries, and shops.....We could not imagine a more perfect weekend (and Father's Day!) We will be back!

We booked this house to stay in as we were attending a family wedding on the island. It made a fabulous home base for the family. There was nothing that we missed, it had all the comforts of home...the deer greeted us outside the window in the early morning. The ravens called to each other from high atop the trees. We saw bald eagles on on more than one occasion...just breathtaking!!!!

Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your beautiful home. The eight of us (4 kids, 4 adults) stayed for over a week and thoroughly enjoyed both the island and the house. My husband and I rented this house for a weekend away with friends. Not only did the house and the Island exceed our expectations, we were delighted to find that the house was stocked with many extra items; I felt like this house was our home away from home. This home is the perfect place for a large family or group of friends. There is plenty of common space and the sleeping areas are separated just enough to give everyone some privacy. The views overlooking the Active Pass are amazing and Mayne Island is a joy to explore. The house has all the comforts of home and was a great place for our family to get together at. Peter made the rental process run smoothly and woory-free and for that we thank him. If we are ever back on Mayne Island we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thanks so much for eveything. A beautiful home in which I felt I'd gone to heaven. Thank you for your wonderful creation and sharing it with me and my husband and family. Karen. Our whole family came over for Mother's Day weekend and we couldn't have asked for more. Great weather, beautiful home!! Bike rides, walks, exploring the beaches, church, and the grandchildrens' favorite: a visit to Rest Q Animal Sanctuary on Ghallagher Rd. (we definately recommend you phone and stop by!)
