our stay was great. plenty of room, very homey. short walk to the beach. the pool at the house was warm and inviting. great place to stay, hope to return.

We absolutely loved staying at this home. Spent 9 nights and it truly felt like home. Nearly everything is provided and the house is warm and inviting, just like the pictures. Would certainly stay here again. Nice quiet neighborhood, literally steps from the beach & a private fenced back yard with a pool....what more could you ask for?? I can't say enough about this property or the owner. Thank you Christy for sharing your home with us.

We absolutely loved staying here, The house was very pet friendly and the location to activities, Beach, Restaurants, and shopping was great. I would reccomend this property yo anyone!

This Beach House was amazing!!! The house is not a house it is a HOME AWAY FROM HOME!!! Chris you have great taste and a very warm and inviting home. We shared the house with another couple and we each expressed the same conclusion that this was a most enjoyable stay. We loved the closeness of the BEACH!!! That we could go for a walk by just opening up the front door and you could see the beach! Thank you Chris for sharing your home with us!

My family,and I had the oppertunity to stay at this house for a week in October 2012. We had a great experience, very relaxing stay. Its important to note you need to bring NOTHING. The owner has this home well stocked right down to beach toys for my children. Super close to the beach!!! The beach was so private. We have been to many beaches before, but nothing compared to this one! WE WERE ALL ALONE! My three children enjoyed the pool, and the nice fenced private back yard. I cant say neough about this property, and the owner. If I have the oppertunity I will stay here again.

We had a wonderful two weeks at this property this summer and are already planning to return next summer! The property was as described but much quieter and breezier than we could have imagined. Even though it was hot each day (in the 90's), there was always a breeze either from the river or ocean or both, so it was very pleasant to sit beside the pool. Since there is no residence behind this property; just more lovely palms and mangrove, it was especially private. The walk to the beach is so easy, and there is a nice, sturdy wagon for hauling chairs, boogie boards, and eats. Even though we had 6-7 people most of the time, we did not feel crowded because the layout of the house affords everyone a quiet room or reading nook. There are TVs in all the bedrooms plus a big one in the living area. Although we didn't use it, there is a homey fireplace, and the skylight in the living room is an added pleasant feature. Our dogs were very comfortable also, and because the property is pet friendly -- tile floors, fenced backyard, and plenty of food/water pans -- we did not have to worry about them. The property owner responded promptly to a problem we had with the cable company, and everything was up and running again quickly. Because we were there July 4th, we sat on the beach steps and could watch fireworks shot from both Flagler Beach and Ormond Beach! In Flagler Beach, we visited the Flagler Beach History Museum and the "Old Florida" Highbridge Road area, and enjoyed eating at Finn's and High Tides at Snack Jack's. In Ormond Beach, we visited "The Casements" (the John D. Rockefeller summer home), golfed at Riviera Country Club, shopped at Adornments, ate at Betty's A-1-A Cafe and La's Bistro, and even learned to stand-up paddleboard under the Granada Bridge at Fortunato Park with instructors from Surf's SUP! We enjoyed our family time together so much and thank Christy for her hospitality. We can't wait until next year!

Another Wonderful Thanksgiving!

We spent Thanksgiving in this home again this year. It was just as last year. We had everything we could possibly need and more. Our dogs were very comfortable. Our grandsons were able to spend more time in the pool than last year because it was warmer this year than last. It was relaxing and pleasant. I would highly recommend this home to anyone interested in staying a short distance from all of the hustle and bustle of the city, but with all of the access to anything you could want. We visited Daytona Beach, St Augustine, and Daytona Beach Shores using this home as our base. This home is exactly as pictured. The home was clean and inviting. Christy is always available to answer any questions or help in any way. I'd recommend this home and the homeowner to anyone looking for a vacation rental. Thanks for a great time, again.

We stayed here week of July 24, 2011 and it was absolutely great! Perfect location from the beach and house was wonderful! Also loved the private pool and the proximity to all the attractions. Will definitely stay here again!

We spent 10 days at this fantastic beach house and didn't want to leave! Christy was so helpful leading up to our arrival and during our stay. She was very quick at responding to our questions. When we arrived we realized the house was much better than we expected and our expectations were high going in. We were travelling with our two children, ages 2 and 9 months, and the house was plenty big for the 4 of us. You are so close to everything you could need/want. The beach, grocery, shopping are all nearby. My inlaws came over for Christmas dinner and they couldn't get over how nice the place was. Thanks again Christy for making this Christmas one we will remember for a long time.

Great Thanksgiving vacation!

We spent Thanksgiving at Christina's house with our son, daughter, son-in-law, and three grandsons. The layout worked very well for us. The location was fantastic. The boys especially loved the pool. They would spend time at the beach, then come back for some time in the pool before dinner. We would like to return to this house the next time we stay near Daytona Beach.

My husband and I and our 3 adult children and their 3 adult friends along with our 2 dachshunds spent a week here from Nov. 6th to Nov. 13th. We had a wonderful time and this beach house was wonderful. We will definantly visit again. It felt like home. We enjoyed walking to the beach every morning to watch the sunrise and then walking to the other end of the street every evening to watch the sunset over the intercoastal waterway. It is the perfect location; close to everything. Thank you Christy for sharing your wonderful beach house with us. The house is exactly as described, very well stocked and Christy is very helpful with anything you might need. Christy was very prompt with returning phone calls and with the security deposit. :)

Stayed a week here my kids loved the pool.The beach is just a short walk,where we spent alot of time.St.Augustine was a short drive spent a day there,went to the little shops and went to the fort it was great.All in all it was a great vacation.

My husband and I, along with our 2 four-legged children, stayed in this house for a week beginning November 30th. We have rented many home through VRBO and we have never stayed in a more well-equipped house than this one. Everything you could possibly need is there. The house itself is wonderful!! Very well maintained and plenty of space. Although we were there when it was too cold to swim, it was still a pleasure to sit at the table out by the pool and unwind. Having rented many homes through VRBO, this is one that we will definately rent again. The owner, Christy is a pleasure to deal with and always responds to your requests quickly. We will definately be renting this house again in the future!!

I have been renting pet friendy houses for over 20 years and this is by far one of the best. The house is located just a short walk to the beach and close to several good restaurants. The very private fenced backyard with the pool was awesome!!! The dogs loved the freedom to run in the secure yard while I floated in the pool totally relaxed because I knew this was going to be a vacation to remember and the house I will definitely return to. I can't say enough about your home and all the special touches you have added to make it feel like a home away from home. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home and helping build wonderful family memories.

Our visit to the house in October 09 was fantastic. The house is spacious and has everything anybody would need for a week of relaxing. I mean how great is it to walk to the beach for the sunrise and to the river for the sunset. In between the 2 we enjoyed the area with all its parks and fishing docks. Our dog enjoyed the back yard and the walks in the parks. The farmers market on Thursday was a great place to get fresh vegetables and delicious breads. The security deposit was returned to us in a timely manner and we are planning on a return visit in the spring.

We stayed in this beach house for 6 days and enjoyed every moment of it. The house is spacious and clean, and very close to the beach. We used the pool and grill daily. We will definately return and hopefully stay longer next time.

Throughout the years we have stayed at many places throughout the world and I have to say that this beautiful rental at Ormond by the sea is among one of my special places to go and, I'm sure, we will return there again and again. The home is immaculate and fully equipt with all things necessary for a fun time including a beautiful in-ground solar heated pool with an outside, (also heated) shower! You lack for nothing while staying at this house! Washer and Dryer, Dish washer,Cable TV, wireless Internet, phones, a great entertainment center and a backyard to die for. If it's peace and quiet you want or the adventure of the sea, (just down the block). This is your vacation home. Thanks Christy for an unforgetable vacation!
