The house was just as described and pictured, as well as being spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The kitchen included everything we needed, and we were surprised to find an iron, ironing board, and hair dryer which had not been mentioned. The owners were great to offer suggestions and answer our questions. We would definitely recommend this to a couple looking for a private getaway. Seaside is a great hangout with good food and lots of activities to keep you busy. The bicycles provided with the house were an extra bonus. We logged about 50 miles on the bikes during our five days. We would certainly stay here again!

3 Mermaids was the perfect getaway to celebrate my husband's birthday. The property was well maintained, clean, and had absolutely everything we needed. The wine and cheese basket was especially thoughtful. The location was not only close to the beach but to many of our favorite restaurants and shops. I especially liked the courtyard garden - so creative and calming. We definitely plan to be repeat guests! Thank you, Kendra and Charlie, for a wonderful, stress-free visit.

Once again, we had the joy of staying at 3 Mermaids, and as usual, Charlie and Kendra made sure that everything was perfect and welcoming. We can't say enough about how wonderful this lovely cottage is. We love the coziness of the cottage, the inviting courtyard garden (especially the hammock for two) and the gorgeous sunsets from the balcony (when we are not down on the beach). Relaxing Getaway at Seagrove Beach

We discovered the 3 Mermaids several years ago and have truly enjoyed our stay each time. It is the perfect place to unwind and Kendra and Charlie are ideal hosts. They can answer any questions about the area but are also mindful of giving guests their space. The cottage is clean and they provide nice touches (i.e. welcome basket, robes, beach umbrella, bikes, etc.) to ensure that your visit is a comfortable one. It is a very short walk to the beach and this part of the beach is not very crowded. Early morning walks and drinks at sunset were a nice way to bookend each day at the beach. The location of the cottage also makes it very easy to get to area restaurants as well as stores such as Publix. The great thing about Seagrove Beach is its relaxed feel. You can be as active or as low key as you want to be. No pressure, just unwind at your leisure. The 3 Mermaids reflects that same mindset. We will be returning to the 3 Mermaids for years to come.

A True Vacation.

We stayed 7 nights at 3 Mermaids. It was mid-July when the seaweed was in full effect - no good ocean swimming, but the pool was PERFECT - behind the big house, nice and secluded, shaded, and cool. Short walk to the beach - cross the street and go down the steps - 60 steps total, I think :). The house is so clean and cool. Everything you need is there. Towels, beach chairs, bikes, kitchen utensils, etc. The soaking tub is big and relaxing. The garden in the front is really perfect - especially in the evening. The big house is real close and you hardly even know they are home - but they were very attentive and such wonderful people. They were very laid back and helped you relax and have a great time - recommending restaurants and nice spots to visit. If you want to shop and be around a lot of people, Seaside is a mile away. If you want to be alone and vacate busy life, the beach isn't packed off of Andalusia and their garden and pool area is secluded and private. My wife and I were looking for something with a big tub, a pool, and a quiet beach. We found it. This is much better than a condo or an overpriced right-on-the-beach house. You have it all at 3 Mermaids.

We would highly recommend 3 Mermaids. The location was incredible because it is very close to the beach access and the many Seaside restaurants and fun shops. The property is decorated beautifully and so clean with everything you need. Our favorite part was riding the bikes they have available to you. The "peaceful garden" was so romantic with hammocks, fountains, chairs, pool, etc. Charles and Kendra were very friendly and available to answer any questions we had.We loved it and we will come again.

3 Mermaids was exactly what my husband and I were looking for! The location is perfect - such a short walk to the gorgeous beach and very close to the wonderful shops and restaurants along 30a. The house was really spacious, clean and had many great amenities. We loved using the bikes that were provided as well as the pool. We can't wait to come back and would definitely recommend 3 Mermaids to other couples looking for a relaxing getaway!

We've been coming to 3 Mermaids for six years and still love it as much or more than the first time. Kendra and Charlie are great and we always enjoy seeing them. Three Mermaids is a perfect place for couples. It's a great place to kick back, relax and forget your hectic life. Love the pool and the courtyard has always been one of my favorites. Can't wait for our next visit in a couple of months.

Perfect getaway for 2 in lovely Seagrove Beach

My husband and I just returned from a brief stay at 3 Mermaids. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. The cottage is tucked away behind a beautiful garden of trees right off of 30A directly across the street from the beach. Charlie and Kendra are the perfect hosts and you truly feel like one of their guests than just a renter. A basket of wine and cheese greet you in the fridge as well as other treats like coffee, creamer, sugar, filters, so no need to stop by the store on the way in, just open the door pop on your bathing suit and hit the beach. There are 2 bikes provided that I wish we had more time to use. The garden at night is filled with lights hanging in the trees and the soft sound of fountains. Take a rest in the hammock and you won't want to leave. Inside the house the bathroom is roomy and luxurious with a large soaking tub/shower wonderful toiletries and cozy robes. The bed downstairs is so comfortable and the kitchen, den and deck upstairs are perfect for coffee and breakfast or a cozy meal for two. I can't think of a more romantic peaceful place to escape from it all at the beach. You won't be disappointed. Thanks again Charlie and Kendra, and thanks for the book!

Our visit was everything we expected and more. The information on the internet was very helpful for us selecting Three Mermaids. The cottage was adorable and very neat/clean. We had everything we needed and loved having the use of the bicycles. The location is ideal. The owners are extremely hospitable and friendly. They truly want to make your stay a memorable one. My husband and I have been going to Seagrove Beach for the past 20 years. We have stayed at many locations, but this was the best so far. Kendra and Charlie have done a wonderful job with their rental cottage. They provided many extras that most places do not. Wine, crackers, cheese, coffee, etc. We loved the bikes, beachchairs, umbrella and beach towels (less to bring with you). I enjoyed having my morning coffee in the garden. The Three Mermaids is billed as a romantic guest cottage, which it most definitely is. However, staying there is more like staying at a B and B, thanks to Charlie and Kendra's hospitality and extra touches from loaned books to restaurant recommendations to the basket filled with cheese and crackers. The location is perfect--just steps from the beach and a short drive to many great restaurants, such as Cafe Tango in Santa Rosa Beach. I would definitely recommend the Three Mermaids and can't wait to return myself.

Perfection and Location come to mind when talking about 3 M's We have stayed at many B&B's, and 3M's rates right up at the top. The rooms are beautifully done and your every need is provided for. The basket of cheese crackers and Mimosas is a great start after your trip. A short walk to a gorgeous beach and Charlie and Kendra provided beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella. Charlie's restaurant reviews were spot on, and he is a wealth of info on the area. We will be back this fall for another great stay!

My wife and I decided to go to the 3 mermaids for our honeymoon in early October and we had a great time. We were greeted by our host who showed us all of the amenities including a grill, beach chairs and umbrella, fuzzy robes, washer / dryer, a kitchen (we cooked a few meals :), and a basket of goodies in the fridge. The surroundings were primo! Our first morning consisted of sitting in the hammock and adirondack chairs in the courtyard just to read for a while before heading out. Sunsets were a short walk away each night .. the bikes they had available were so fun because we loved riding through Seaside and Watercolor to look at the amazing landscaping and beautiful cottages. We hope to be able to visit again soon. Thanks Charlie and Kendra!

Our stay at the Three Mermaids was superb and far exceeded our expectations. Charlie and Kendra have perfected the "little things" that make a vacation special, from plush towels and fragrant soaps to bathrobes and a lovely welcome basket of goodies (which really hits the spot after a long drive). Everything about this crisp, clean cottage was well planned, most notably its design and separate entrance. The bikes, beach chairs and umbrella were a welcome bonus we utilized every day. The location of the cottage was perfect. We could walk to the beach in as little as three minutes, or to a number of nearby restaurants and shops. Seaside was a quick bike ride away or a leisurely walk along the shore. We loved the "rules" of the house, which we obeyed faithfully, and appreciated all the recommendations and suggestions. Overall our visit was relaxing, peaceful and just what we were looking for. We would recommend the Three Mermaids to anyone, and we'll definitely be back.

You are a guest here, not a renter! Wine, Cheese and crackers await you as well as Breakfast muffins and coffee/tea set ups. This place is JUST Right! Close to the beach, 30-A Bike trail right out the door, 2 state parks, eateries in both directions with all price ranges. There are also seafood markets and a grocery store (Publix) close by. Gourmet Grocery/Market in Seaside for anything "special" you might desire.

We truly enjoyed staying at Three Mermaids! The wine and cheese was a perfect way to begin our long weekend while enjoying the ocean view from the balcony! We stayed at the 3 Mermaids for our fourth anniversary. We couldn't have picked a better place. Cozy, private, beautiful, practically on the beach, and so many little extras...I won't bore you by commenting on them all. I've never stayed in a place that was privately owned like this, and I was afraid the pictures and the comments would tell a lie. The pictures don't do the place justice, and everything the owners say is true. Speaking of the owners, they're super nice and they have great taste in restaurants. We followed their recommendation for our anniversary dinner. Delicious!

Drive up and down the coast--you won't find a more wonderful destination than the one you're sitting in now. First take off your watch. Don't turn on the TV-for anything. We loved our stay at the Three Mermaids cottage. The area was perfect for our stay in Florida. The cottage could not have been in a more picturesque setting. We loved the easy beach access to relax our days away. There were so many nice touches in the cottage - a guest book with prior guest's recommendations, a well-thought restaurant and activities guide with a personal touch and a small welcome gift that made us feel even more invited. This is a great place to stay for a very intimate getaway. The accommodations are very modern with artistic touches. I wold recommend this cottage to anyone for their stay in Seagrove. Our stay here in Seagrove Beach at 3 Mermaids has been great! We were here to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and wanted the "perfect" place to stay. This was it! We have had a wonderful week alone without our 3 kids (even though we are really missing them by now). We have done a bit of everything while here, shop, beach, eat, eat, sleep, dolphin cruise and eat some more. 3 Mermaids was very nice and the surroundings were beautiful.
