San Luis Star is an amazing luxury beachside home located four houses from the lovely West Galveston Beach.
This beach house comfortably sleeps 10 people in beds and is light and airy with loads of windows looking out at the beach. This house is furnished with high end furniture that adds a spa–like feel to the entire house.
The main level of the house features a large open floor plan which is great for entertaining. A modern kitchen fully equipped to whip out a great meal overlooks the living and dining areas. This level opens out into an expansive partially covered deck and has a large outdoor dining table that seats 10 people. Rest and relax to the sound of the waves on two comfortable Adirondack chairs. Also on this level is one master bedroom with attached bathroom and a large closet.
The master bedroom has a cozy nook with a coffee table, chairs and ottoman. A flat screen TV and a DVD player completes this relaxing room.
On the upper level are two bedrooms; one bedroom has king size bed and the other bedroom has bunk beds that comfortably sleeps 6 people. Both bedrooms have their own TV and DVD player. The shared bathroom on this level has double sinks and loads of counter space. There is another good size deck with Adirondack seating on this level looking out into the beach and overlooking the deck below.
The ground level has a large covered outdoor area with a BBQ grill, picnic tables, and chairs. Enjoy your meals outdoors while looking at the great Gulf views. And when you’re ready for the beach, it’s only about a half a block away, easily accessible via a community dune crossover.

Six discriminating women fell in love with this house and probably will stay again in the future for our annual retreat. The pictures of the furnishings adequately portray the design of the home. We loved the furnishings from the couches in the living room to the tables and chairs on the patios. The beds were extremely comfortable. The house was well taken care of and extremely clean. We also loved looking at the Gulf from the house & walking to the beach daily. We also enjoyed the pool - we even had it to ourself for hours on the weekend. We thought that we would miss being in Galveston but recognized quickly the advantage of being outside of town where the beach was quiet and clean. The owner was extremely attentive to our every need.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This house worked perfect for us, we had 4 adults and 6 kids. The location is very close to the boardwalk onto the beach, and the house is on a cul de sac with little to no traffic. The outdoor shower is a great convenience and the interior of the house is great. The kitchen worked well and there was plenty of seating for eating meals. The owner was very accomodating and it was a great house that was well maintained. There are quite a few stairs, which was ok for us because our children live in homes with stairs, but could be a concern if children were very young. If you are looking for a family getaway, this is the place!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We stayed for here for 4 nights, and had a blast! We had 4 adults and 6 children, and fit comfortably. Everything about the house was beautiful, and close to the beach! With children ranging in ages from 2-8, we needed something for everyone. This house had it! We will definately be back!! This beachhouse is absolutely AMAZING!!!!! We enjoyed 4 nights here with two families, 4 adults and 4 children, and this house was a PERFECT fit! We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation here and the beach is only a short walk across the yard. This home is warm and inviting for everyone and the furniture here is great!!! It looks like something out of a Pottery Barn magazine! The king beds in the bedrooms and the bunk beds in the kids room made our sleeping here comfortable and cozy. I couldn't have found a better place to stay. And on top of this really awesome home the owners are extremely pleasant and great at communicating which made this experience all the better! Thank you to Mr. Paul for making our experience a great one. I would recommened this home to anyone looking to relax and enjoy their vacation!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
