Our 3-bedroom cottage with water views is nestled amidst maple, and fir trees in the village of Tenants Harbor. The cottage has a full deck where guests can relax in comfortable adirondak chairs and view Southern Island in the distance while watching the lobster boats and yachts as they enter the harbor.
The large living room with vaulted ceiling has a woodburning fireplace. The cottage is also equipped with central heat for those cooler nights, cable television and telephone. The kitchen is equipped with the essentials including: coffeemaker, microwave oven and toaster.
Access to the shore front where a kayak or canoe can be launched is a short 3-minute walk away.
The village center where a small grocery store, post office, library, and restaurants can be found is a ten minute leisurely stroll on a quiet road. Take a scenic drive and explore the many small coastal villages. Enjoy the simplicity of Mid-Coast Maine.
Many of our guests picnic on the beach at Drift-In, book passage on the ferry to Monhegan Island and visit Marshall Point Lighthouse and Museum in nearby Port Clyde. In Rockland, guests often visit the Farnsworth Museum with its collection of Wyeth paintings
Dine out on fresh seafood or pick up some fresh lobster for dinner. The cottage is a wonderful place to relax after a day of sightseeing.
