This vintage summer cottage with over 5,000 square feet of space was constructed in the early 1900's. It is perfect for extended families needing room for everyone to visit, spread out and relax. "Rockledge" has eight bedrooms, two sun rooms, four bathrooms, three fireplaces, a "flight deck" overlooking the ocean, two patios, a large dining room seating 10 or more, butler's pantry, a kitchen with dining table and chairs, and a laundry and wood room. The house is fully furnished and equipped, cleaned by housekeeping services and ready to occupy. Cable TV and wireless internet services are available.

This beautiful house is called a "cottage" but it is that and a whole lot more! It offers fabulous panoramic views from most of the rooms. Sit on the deck and watch the ocean, the seagulls and lobstermen gathering their catch. Located in the exclusive south end of Rockport, it is a quiet and restful retreat, yet so accessible to the artist colony town of Rockport with its galleries, interesting shops and restaurants. Walk to Loblolly Cove, Pebble Beach and Cape Hedge Beach. Rockledge is seasonal and only available by the week or more, from Saturday to Saturday. It is not uncommon for bookings to be secured two years ahead so please make your inquiries early.
