  My husband, myself and our 2 kids had an awesome stay at this condo! I will be recommending it to friends! The pool area was great and the beach is just steps away! This was a great family friendly complex! We will be staying here again! We had everything we needed to cook with and this place is close to some really great resturants if you want to go out! Alabama Family

  We had a great time with our 2 kids for vacation this year. This place was very clean and was just enough room for our family of 4. The kids loved the pool. It was a very short walk to the beach. We parked right in front of the stairs everytime, so it was eacy to unload and load. Very quite at night. We will definitly be back. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  We had a great time with our kids in this condo. It has a nice pool and can see it perfect from your balcony. The walk to the beach was very short, short enough I didn't have to pack our lunches to take them down. Perfect beaches and waves.

  It was so nice to be able to park right in front of the unit and one flight of stairs and you are there!! We really enjoyed the quiet aspect of Nautical Watch, not overcrowded on the beach or pool and especially NO noise at night!! The unit offered everything we needed and will definetly be going back.Thanks Brian for a quick and easy check in and love not having to fool with keys!

  What a beautiful and relaxing condo. We simply love the decor and looking out onto the pool was so nice. The walk to the beach is literally 3 minutes. Everything you need is here!! Brian was such a nice person to rent from. I will definitely be going back!!

  The previous reviews are a couple of years old and somewhat outdated. Therefore I would like to offer a more current review. On the positive side, the condo is very reasonably priced, and the Nautical Watch complex itself is in a very good location. However the pictures of this specific condo were very misleading, atleast for me. The description pictures show two rows of condos sitting directly on the beach, well this particular condo is not one of these on the front row by the beach. It sits the next row back. The picture showing the view of the beach from the front door is a stretch. That view is better seen if you walk across the parking lot and take a picture through the fencing. However, the balcony view overlooking the pool is accurate, and very nice. The living and dining room pictures are also accurate. Unfortunately there is not a good view of the carpeting. The carpeting is filthy! Now I admit I am a germaphobe, so keep this in mind as you are reading this. I had to go buy slippers to not walk directly on the carpeting. It needs to be replaced! Again, I am paranoid, but I didn't want to sleep on the condo sheets, so I brought my own sheets. The first thing I did was strip the sheets off the bed and the matress protector had urine stains on it. I then stripped the protector off to find a blood stain on the matress. To me, this was disgusting. Also, the description states that the condo has everything needed....Well bring your own towels. There were only four very thin, small, worn out, and stained towels and one dish cloth and dish towel. I also noticed in the visitor book most past guests had mentioned they had bought different items such as tolit paper, paper towels, dishwasher needs, etc to leave for the next guest. It seems to me the only reason there were supplies there were because of previous guests. There were plenty of pots, pans, and eating plates and utinsels. Also, the shower would not drain. While taking a shower, we had to just barely turn the water on, so the bathtub would not fill up. One last thing, I could not even hang my clothes in the closet because when I opened the closet door it smelled like a dirty wet dog. There was a matress in the closet that may have been used previously for a dog. However, I didn't want to risk my clothes smelling like that, so I lived out of a suitcase all week. I honestly cannot say that I would ever stay there again nor recommend it to anyone.

  Owner response: We are very aware that the carpet is in need of replacement. It gets dirty very quickly as guests are usually barefooted coming in from beach or parking lot. The carpet is being replaced the second week in september. As for the photos they are all accurate. The pictures this reviewer is questioning seem to be from front door which I took myself from...the front door. This unit sits on the beach side of the street, there is one unit between this unit and the beach, no streets in between.. This is a "poolside" unit as description and photos show, not a "beachside" unit. It is poolside with beach view from the front door and this photo was used to show the close proximity to beach since it is a complex on beach but NOT beach front unit. The other photo is of the complex taken from beach. this photo is provided to show a picture of the beach at the complex, NOT the "unit" in which you will be staying. As for towels and dish rags they are provided by the cleaning company and yes some of them are in better condition than others however you will be supplied with 4 towels , washclothes and a dishrag. There is a washer and dryer in this unit to wash any time you need so this NORMALLY does the average guests two to four days (depending on whether you use your towel twice). It also sounds as though a guest must have brought a pet in although we have a strict NO PET policy, this is being cleaned so if you stay Please leave your pets at home. We live out of state and are usually unaware of an issue such as a drain not working or a stain on a mattress unless we are notified by a guest or our cleaning company. I have my cell phone number listed right here on the page and all guests have it so please call anytime day or night if you have an issue or something needs attention. PLEASE PLEASE do not keep it to yourself and then go home and leave us a bad review. Let us know so we can fix it or move you to a different unit if you desire. Thanks.

  We stayed at the condo here at Nautical Watch and we loved it.. its a great place to bring your family, it is close to everything. And the rates are very good!!! I loved it..In fact, the next school break we have I want to be back at the condo.I have told all my clients at my salon this IS the place to go for your vacation...

  We really enjoyed our vacation in your beautiful condo. We loved the beautiful pool area and quiet atmosphere. The condo was beautiful and very clean. The kitchen area had everything we needed to prepare any meals we had planned and we really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony at night looking down on the pool area, it is definatly somewhere we would choose to stay again.

Below you should find all the information you need to get you on your way to the beach. If there is any thing that you are still curious about or need answered, please feel free to call me anytime before or during your vacation. We also will accept personal check although check must be received in time to clear before key code will be released. Full payment is due within 7 days of arrival; once payment is received you will receive key code for door. I will contact you within 14 days of your departure to set up final payment. Please call me if you have not heard from me within these 14 days so there is no delay. Security/Damage Deposit: A refundable security/damage deposit of $200 is required at time of reservation. Any rental period over 10 days or during Spring Break is $300 deposit. This is NOT to be applied to your total rental fee. Your credit card will be charged or if check for deposit, it will be cashed. If no damage or missing items upon your departure your deposit will be refunded in full by check within 2 weeks after check-out. Cancellation Policy: 14 day notice required for full refund of deposit. Less than 14 day notice no refund unless we are able to fill your cancelled dates. We will refund all monies paid in full if we are able to rent your cancelled dates. Sorry but no refunds for early departures, eviction, or cancellations due to weather. Refund will be provided for lost rental days due to a mandatory evacuation. Cleaning fee will not be refunded. Monthly guests must cancel sixty (60) days prior to arrival for full refund of deposit. Cleaning Fee: A $65 cleaning fee is charged with each rental period . There is no daily maid service with this privately owned condo. You need not worry about anyone entering your unit during your stay. There is a washer and dryer in unit for you to wash linens provided. Fee is for cleaning unit after your departure. Lost Keys / Lockout: A digital deadbolt is on front door. You will be furnished with a combination to this deadbolt when final payment is received. There is a lock on the knob as well but the only key is in the office on-site. VERY IMPORTANT. IF YOU LOCK THIS DOOR KNOB YOU WILL HAVE TO GO TO OFFICE ON SITE TO GET SPARE KEY. IF IT IS AFTER HOURS (5pm-10am) YOU WILL HAVE TO GO TO BOARDWALK BEACH RESORT ABOUT 3 MILES DOWN THE BEACH TO GET SPARE. • Restrictions: This is a non-smoking condo. Damage deposit will be forfeited for smoking indoors. No Pets Allowed. Minimum age to rent is 25. You may be asked to fax or mail a copy of photo ID such as a driver's license for proof of age.
