A new Carova Beach Park offers boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, picnicking and volleyball. Just be sure to stop for the wild horses in the road. If you wish to venture north to the end of Carova Beach, you may choose to hike in solitude along the sand trails of False Cape State Park. Travel south and experience great shopping and dining in Corolla. Climb the Corolla Light House or tour The Whalehead Club. There you will relax by the Sound and watch the boats sail over the cool water. Further south, the Village of Duck, Nags Head, and Roanoke Island await.
