Great 5-bedroom home near downtown Chicago

I just got back from an awesome week in Bridgeport, a lesser known gem in the south side of Chicago. It is well situated for families wanting to visit their new grads at the University of Chicago or IIT. It is also an easy drive to wonderful ethnic restaurants in Little Italy, Chinatown, and Pilsen. White Sox games at Comiskey Field are a quick jaunt down the street via bus or car. It is also just a few stops down the 55 freeway from Midway Airport, a welcome relief after a long day of traveling.
The townhouse itself was roomy and well-equipped with several large flat-screen TVs -- perfect for watching the Stanley Cup and NBA finals with friends and family. With three stories plus a basement, this home had plenty of space whether a bear wanted privacy or not. There was even a P2P console and games for entertaining the teen in our group! The rooftop terrace was a great vantage point for watching the fireworks going off in the city after the Blackhawks’ Stanley Cup win.
All of the beds were large and comfortable. The linen closet had plenty of extra towels for our large group. When we weren’t enjoying the great restaurants in the city, we could easily cook for the clan with 6 burners on the Viking range. For the early risers in our group, there was a porch swing on the side of the house and a lovely little garden for enjoying a morning cup of coffee outside. Nearby, there was a pretty riverfront path and a park just a few blocks away for the cubs.

We bought this home as it is close proximity to downtown, but still large enought to house a large group that would prefer not to pay for multiple hotel rooms, and be able to stay all together under own roof.
