Fall is here now, students are back, the air is fresh and cooler... and it's still a sunny day in New Mexico!
This intimate space is a delightful oasis of tranquility and beauty just a mile from the historic Old Mesilla Plaza. The amenities are all new and quite luxurious. And the soft-toned, eclectic furnishings and local art are charming and inspiring. They say La Mesilla is the place where time stands still and it is true. Explore the historic neighborhood, walk along the Rio Grande irrigation ditches and imagine what it was like at this crossroads a century and more ago.
Las Cruces was the half-way point for travelers on the westward trek from San Antonio to San Diego, as well as southward bound from Santa Fe to Chihuahua. Today it is a lo-rise university town, home to 90,000 warm-hearted souls, and surrounded by big southwestern skies and vistas. White Sands National Monument is less than an hour away and other areas for hiking and exploring abound. Many museums, art galleries and unusual shops are nearby and ready to welcome you. The Organ Mountains on the eastern edge of the city offer their grandeur to all, and reflect color and light distinctively throughout the day.
Whatever you do during your stay, you will surely feel the sweetness and harmony when you come home to relax or work. You can swim in our outdoor pool or exercise in the fitness center at our little clubroom. Even cook a meal on the outdoor grill.
We welcome you to come stay for a few nights or a few weeks and invite you to enjoy this peaceful, stunning, small abode whenever and for whatever reason you come to Las Cruces. |
