We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Las Cruces and in this beautiful maintained and cleaned condo. Conveniently located to some great restaurants, freeway and places to walk. Pool is a little small but still a nice place for a refreshing dip. Go to The Bean for a great cup of coffee and their green chili scone. And The Shed for breakfast is the best! Condo is super clean, relaxing and quiet. Will definitely be back!

I stayed here for a little over four months, which makes me a rather unusual renter. Most guests stay for a weekend or a week-long fall break, according to the owner. I had a very positive experience overall. You cannot compare this place to a regular vacation apartment -- it is furnished and equipped above and beyond what you would expect. It is also very clean, and kept in excellent shape. Noise is minimal, so a good place to get creative work done. Very convenient location near the Interstate [you you don't hear it], and about 30 minutes drive to the Organ Mountains. 45 minutes to El Paso. Covered parking on-site, and walking distance to quaint Mesilla. Definitely recommended.

This was a short notice business trip. We had a great time in this cozy apartment. It is clean, convenient, quiet, bed is very comfortable. It has all the comforts of home and it really looks like the pictures. Great change from staying at a hotel! Will stay there again!

Wonderful place

This was a last minute business trip and our stay was only two nights, which is less than what the owners prefer. We appreciated them working with us to allow us to use their apartment. What a nice change from staying at a hotel! The apartment is in a small complex, with everything close by and soooo quiet! It has everything you need, including coffee. We will stay there again!

This property is just right. It is in the right location and it is well cared for and well managed. Great care is taken to ensure that everything you would have at home is right there for you. Great dining and wine tasting are just down the street. The owner and the manager are extremely east to deal with. You can't go wrong with this one!

We enjoyed every minute of our 2 month stay . It felt just like a home away from home and our small dog loved it as well. We toured the area , tried out the many wonderful restaurants and spent many evenings simply relaxing in the very well appointed condo. Teresa was very helpful and always available to answer questions. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed and the bed was very comfortable. We have already recommended it to friends and neighbors for next year.

Our stay in Sofia's Suite was amazing. The condo was clean, cozy and inviting. The view was amazing and everything we needed was available down to the small baggies. We dined in most evenings and felt like we were coming home after a day of sight seeing . Theresa was very accommodating and was a joy to get to know. We loved having a washer/dryer in the unit and used it several times, since we were there for one week. It was sad to leave and we hope to return in the near future. We would recommend this property without a moments hesitation.

Our stay over Chrisrmas was a excellent experience, tresa was just great to work with, every thing we needed to cook with was there other then the weather we had a great time.

As Good As It Gets!

We had a lovely time exploring southern NM, thanks to the comforts of Sophia's Suite. It is truly a serene and nourishing place. The kitchen is beautifully appointed with everything we could ask for. The bed is super comfy, and the living room so well-suited to watch the collection of DVDs on the flat screen TV. The setting is magical...palm trees, roses and other blooming flowers, and the architecture of the complex is so picturesque. Thank you, Gail, for allowing us to bring our wonderful dog, Molly, with us. She fit right in with the beautiful surroundings! We hope to return for a longer visit next time.

My wife and I spent the time from 10.5.2011 to 10.12.2011 at the Mesilla Abodes in Sofia's Suite. This very comfortable condominium was like home to us. From there it was easy to reach any place in Las Cruces and Mesilla. We always looked forward to return to the beauty and warm atmosphere of "our home" Sofia's Suite. Whatever we needed was there - even thoughtfully selected books and DVD's - which we enjoyed greatly. The interior design pleased us with it's tasteful furniture, fabrics and their lovely colors, textures and other qualities. The inviting looking kitchen and it's most practical implements encouraged us to prepare the foods we like. We wished that we could have stayed there a little bit longer - but our time in this charming corner of NM was limited. Luckily we made lots of photos which help us to remember the beautiful, joyful and peaceful time we spent at Sophia's Suite. We can only recommend the flair and ambiance at Sofia's most highly for potential guests.You'll love it!

We both enjoyed our stay so much we have not stopped talking or thinking about it since we left. The proximity to the town was perfect for morning walks and enjoying evening cocktails. The condo was nicely decorated and very comfortable. We are hoping to come back next year, this time we hope to bring a couple of our friends. We will think of our vacation often, especially in January and February while we are shoveling snow and battling our New England winter!

We just wanted to say what a perfect time we had in Las Cruces, thanks in large part to your excellent accommodations! Everything was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. We found our stay care-free because we knew we had a great base to operate from - not only was the flat convenient to our Habitat work location, but we also spent a lot of time in Old Mesilla because it was so near. We found everything we needed whether we wanted to whip up a meal or hang around the pool. Your directions booklet was very helpful with local attractions and even figuring out the TV controls! And thanks again for the use of the phone – we were able to keep in touch with home and confirm our local appointments. We really were cozy, and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Las Cruces or Old Mesilla.

We stayed the first two weeks of March in Sofia's Suite. We found the condo to be just as described and the pictures on the website to be very accurate. The condo had everything we needed for a great stay in Las Cruces. We were not disappointed. Gail and Teresa were very easy to work with and did everything to make our stay pleasant. The location of the condo is great. We were within walking distance to the Old Mesilla Plaza. The plaza has wonderful shops and restaurants. We loved the whole Las Cruces area. We enjoyed our stay so much, we are planning on returning next year.

My wife and I spent three wonderful Weeks in Sofia's condo in Las Cruces. Mesilla, shopping and Mexican food were superb. The condo was.clean, comfortable and quiet. All our needs were more than met by Gail and her crew. Would definitely recommend Sofia's to anyone planning a visit to Las Cruces.

We definitely enjoyed our 2 week stay at this well appointed and very comfortable condo. The owner and her agent were very gracious and very respectful of our privacy. Teresa was just a phone call away if you had a question or something was needed. Our stay was very quiet and relaxing and we would definitely recommend this property for its ambiance and proximity to all Las Cruces has to offer.

My wife and I spent a week in this condo. It is convenient to Old Mesilla (we walked to the old Plaza), downtown, the University and I-10. The unit is tastefully decorated and features local artists' works (we met one on the annual Las Cruces Artists Studio Tour). It was well equipped, with good array of kitchen utensils and other thoughtful items (paper and pens, tissues, spices, shampoo and conditioner, etc.). The complex is nicely landscaped, very quiet and the residents friendly. I would strongly recommend this unit to anyone.

We stayed at Sofia's suite for 5 days while visiting our son at NMSU. The condo was impeccably furnished, immaculately clean and provided everything you might need for your stay. The location was perfect. Brochures in the home gave us great ideas for where we wanted to explore. Couldn't recommend it highly enough!!

We stayed in this condo from December 30, 2009 to January 17, 2010 and found it to be very comfortable and very well located. The biggest pleasant surprise was how well provisioned the condo was. It was stocked with cleaning supplies, condiments, coffee, bandaids, etc. and everything you would find in your own home. We very much enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it. Nancy was a pleasure to deal with during the rental process and even more of a pleasure to meet in person. Jim and Elke Foote

Great location and quiet setting made this condo a plus. Close to shopping and restaurants we loved staying here. Was nice not to be in a hotel with all the hastles and noise.

WOW! What a lovely condo and located in the best part of town. I found a great winery (St. Clairs) to eat and drink a glass of wine two blocks away! Nancy is just super to work with and I appreciate her professionalism so much. I stay in several condo's all over the United States and this is one has everything you would need to make your stay very comfortable. I travel a lot and usually in hotels every night but I thought I'd try Sofia's Suite instead. What a great place to stay and I promise to be back real soon! Thank you Nancy for allowing me to stay on such short notice and making me feel so welcomed!

We were greeted by the lovely Nancy! Everything was just perfect. The condo is wonderful. We had everything we needed and the bed was extremely comfortable (something we don't usually find even in high class hotels!) The town of Mesilla is beautiful and the people were very accommodating. Enjoyed a day at the spa Duncan/Noble, highly recommend. We plan on visiting again, maybe in the winter. Thank you, Sam & Norine C

I stayed at Mesilla Abodes in July 09 during 2 weeks of medical treatments. I was SO pleased with my choice! The condo was clean and stocked with everything I needed to be comfortable. Loved the satellite radio and even enjoyed the videos supplied. The pool and exercise room were added bonuses and the WiFi worked perfectly. Covered parking was also great, given the heat. I would recommend this condo to anyone!

We were looking for a comfortable place to stay for our family during my daugher's graduation from NMSU, and we found it at Sophia's Suite. We were also able to rent Carmen's Suite right next door, and both suites provided a perfect and relaxing retreat for our whole family. The location is close to Old Mesilla and NMSU, and both condos are beautifully decorated and have all the comforts of home. Nancy is wonderful to work with, and we highly recommend either suite to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious place to stay.

Mesilla Adobe was perfect for our weekend get away. The condo's furnishings are simply gorgeous and the setting is very quiet and relaxing. It was the perfect way to experience Las Cruces, and we highly recommend it. It is also conveniently located to great shops and restaraunts Lindsey and Jason Oro Valley, AZ

We found the Mesilla Adobe to be a perfect home away from home. It was very clean and very quiet and best of all we could walk to Old Mesilla where there are plenty of special shops and restaurants. It was perfect.

This apartment is more like a home away from home experience. As I walked in I felt taken care of, every little detail was carefully thought out. All my expectations were fufilled, and being next to Mesilla makes it really practical. I highly recommend it.
