My husband and I had a wonderful vacation at Tiki on the Bay. The accommodations are small, but cozy, clean and comfortable. We would definately like to return next year. (The "love bugs" were a bit annoying but were only a problem the last couple of days of our stay).

The unit was very clean, comfortable and had everything necessary to enjoy our vacation. It was so nice getting up in the morning and sitting outside with a cup of coffee and just relaxing and watching the boats go by. The pool was a refreshing 74 degrees. Other guests/owners were very friendly. We would definitely recommend Tiki on the Bay to others who are traveling to the area. Hope to go back in the spring sometime.
Owner response:We are so glad that you enjoyed our little piece of paradise!

My husband, along with me and our 12 year old grandson rented this charming cottage for the Labor Day weekend and really enjoyed it. It's a great location, right on the water. We took advantage of some great sunsets, dock fishing and a swim in the pool. We also enjoyed some of the local sites, such as the beach at Gasparilla Island. The cottage is equipped for cooking and eating in, although we didn't do that this time. It is furnished beautifully and the bed was the most comfortable we have ever had away from home. The owner, Mary Lynn Desjarlais, was so very kind and accommodating.

Just returned on 8/17/10 from our one week stay with our daughter and 5 year old granddaughter. We loved this place; exactly as described and portrayed. It is very clean and comfortable and the neighbors so very nice. My husband said he had not felt that relaxed in a long time. We found the people in this town to be very friendly and there were many good restaurants which we took advantage of. We could have easily cooked in the apartment but none of us felt like devoting time to that. We would definately stay here again.

We just left Tiki 5/23/10. Was a very nice stay! Plenty to do in the area. Enjoyed being visited by a manatee the very first night we were there. This cottage has absolutely everything that is needed for a comfortable stay. The neighbors were helpful and very nice. We would stay here again! It is very clean and comfortable.

We spent a delightful week here in late October. The summer heat was gone and we enjoyed morning coffee and evening cocktails in chairs by the beach. The condo and pool were immaculate. There are several good restaurants within just a few minutes drive and we rented a boat for two perfect days on the water. This was a great place for two busy professionals to decompress and unwind. We hope to be able to return soon.

We recently stayed at Tiki #5 for 9 nights. We had a wonderful vacation. We had the best unit in the complex as it was waterfront and had the best view. The unit was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The pool was nice and clean also. We met several great people who were also vacationing to Tiki on the Bay and were enjoying their stay as well. This is one of my husbands favorite areas for saltwater fishing. We would definately stay here again.

Tiki on the Bay is special to our family. We have only started renting the unit to non-family members.Tiki on the Bay is perfect for a quiet vacation - it is "old florida" with gorgeous water views. We can email additional pictures of the view, fishing pier, pool and interior of our unit. Our unit directly faces Lemon Bay. As you can see from the pictures, our unit is the very first unit from the bay, with gorgeous views of Lemon Bay. Our unit has its own wooden deck facing the bay. Tiki has its own small beach on the intercoastal waterway, swimming pool, fishing pier and boat dock.Manasota Key is a short drive across the bridge with a huge public ocean beach. There is grocery shopping, YMCA and restaurants within biking distance. There are charter fishing boats or sight seeing boats, pontoon boat rentals, seadoo and kayak rentals all close by on beach road. The Englewood art center is 1 block way, the art alliance and live theater are located blocks away on Dearborn Street. There is the lovely Lemon Bay Park with 2 nature walking trails and an interpretive center. Don’t forget spring training for baseball in Port Charlotte! The kitchen has dishes, cook ware and glasses so that you can make and eat all your meals at Tiki! There are restaurants on the mainland and on Manasota Key. Sarasota is only a short distance away with award winning restaurants, Ringling Museum of Art, Selby Botanical Gardens and Mote Marine Center..Come and enjoy paradise!
