Restaurants serving fresh gulf seafood and steaks as well as shops with unique wares are located nearby.
This unit is located on the 9th floor and provides an excellent view of the coast. The rooms are spacious and elegantly furnished with a tropical feel. Enjoy resting on the comfortable beds covered in Egyptian cotton sheets. Sleeps 8 in beds (1 king and 3 queens) and 2 on a sleeper sofa. The bathrooms are furnished with thick and thirsty towels - a luxury rarely found in rental units. The kitchen is nicely equipped to provide the cook in the bunch with all of the necessities to whip up that perfect vacation cuisine! The kitchen and bathrooms have been recently updated with fabulous granite and a tile backsplash!

We love the beach in the off season, and had a wonderful time this year at Summer House. The grounds are neat and well maintained and the unit was just lovely. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner (except a cutting board), the beds were very comfortable and the linens are high quality and luxurious. The view from the large balcony is spectacular and we enjoyed watching the sunsets from there. It was all quite perfect and a good time was had by all.
Owner response:Thanks for your message! We have just updated the kitchen and removed the old "built in" cutting board - I had not even thought to add a cutting board to the inventory, so I will do that - thanks for the suggestion!

We had a wonderful time! The weather was hot and sunny for our entire stay. Nice breezes on the balcony. There were elevator issues on our first day, but they were fixed by morning. We got our exercise that first day hauling groceries up 9 flights of stairs! But, boy did that cold beer taste good when we finally made it to the balcony to catch our breath! One of our highlights was the dolphins that were swimming not far offshore one morning. We watched them for over an hour before they finally swam out of sight. We went to Lulu's at Homeport one night. The wait was long, but there is a shaded pavillion with live music and a bar. Lee was a pleasure to work with. Very helpful and informative. Thanks so much for your home away from home! I can't wait to get back to the beach!

Would rate this as one of the best beach condo's I have rented. Stayed for a month and wish it could have been more. Owner was very kind and thoughtful in meeting his guest needs. Would highly recommend this as a vacation spot for any amount of time you could stay. Owner has integrity. We loved the Oyster House & The Hideout for seafood, Lamberts in Foley for down home southern cooking. Go to Fairhope for a day if you have the time, quaint shops line several streets. The museum at NAS in Pensacola was very interesting as was the light house. Beach was great every day for the whole month and indoor pool & hot tub was great. Had great family time and good times with visiting GF. Wonderful way to celebrate retiring.
