San Diego's North County Beach area is in a perfect location to enjoy all that San Diego has to offer yet live in an area that has that small town feel where people are friendly and families welcome. The area has some of Southern California's best beaches and is an easy drive to world class golf, major theme parks, and big city culture. All of this combined makes this area a great vacation destination!
The Unique Benefits at this House
This property is just steps to the beach with a dedicated street crossing to get you safely to the sand. We have set up this home to maximize the beach experience with outside BBQ, outside shower, fire pit, beach accessories, and more. 5 minutes to LegoLand, great golf, and just a 5 minute walk to Carlsbad's "Village by the Sea" area.
This is our beach which is perfect for families with it's sandy bottom and lifeguard stand. Great surfing and body boarding just north and off the jetty.
This is an eclectic, vibrant area that is full of interesting shops, restaurants, and nightlife

My husband and I fell in love with San Diego's North County and the "Old California Beach" feeling the area has. After many road trip vacations from Northern California, we knew that this was the place for us. We love the vacation rental business and the opportunities it creates to meet terrific people who love the beach like we do. The new friends we have made and the interesting guests we have hosted from all over the world have made our small business a joy to own and manage.

Our stay here was wonderful. The owners are ever so honest and very respectful people. Everything was better then asked for. Closer to the ocean and shops than I realized it would be. We will be back for another stay. You have earned our buisness and we will tell our family and friends to visit your locations. Thank you very much.

We had the most relaxing week at "Casa Alegre"! Our family of 4 was welcomed warmly and felt completely at home with everything we could need for an enjoyable stay. The owners are a joy to work with. This darling bungalow has been COMPLETELY renovated top to bottom, it's like being in a brand new place but with added charm. LOVED: beach chairs/equipment, patio with BBQ and firepit, WALKING 1 block to the beach(no parking hassles!), big-screen HDTV, wi-fi, ocean breezes, shopping in the village, discovering new restaurants, etc. etc. We look forward to returning-- our only hesitation in recommending this rental would be that we want to keep this secret to ourselves!
