Great place for family summer vacation

Stayed here for a week with the extended family. The main house is a spacious double-wide with a large master bedroom/bath and two nice sized bedrooms. The kitchen is also pretty big, with enough refrigerator and cooking space to cook for the whole family. There is also a nice living space with room for young ones to run around if it rains as well as a great area for adults to play games. We didn't spend a lot of time in the boat house, but it is large and has a very nice pool table. At one time we had seven adults and five kids, and it did not feel crowded at all. The pier/boathouse was great for fishing as it provided some shade during all hours of the day. We also did a little bit of swimming from the pier and the water was about 4-5 foot deep. We caught a lot of small catfish and a few keepers from the pier. The location can't be beat. There is a grocery store, pizza place and a BBQ place within a 5 minute drive. Overall this is a great place for a family vacation and offers plenty of activities for the kids. Only criticisms I have are that the oven takes forever to get to temperature (talking an thirty minutes to an hour) so I wouldn't plan on cooking any meals that involve the oven and jumping into the water from the pier was easy, but getting back out was a little rough (a ladder would have been nice).
Owner response:We are glad you enjoyed your stay at our lake house. There was a ladder at the dock at one time but seems to have disappeared. When we came to clean the house, it was left in great shape. It was well taken care of during your stay. We would be happy for you to rent our house again.
