Our oceanfront Poipu Cove Home is located on a quiet lane, 20 feet to the water in the exclusive Baby Beach neighborhood of Poipu. The soothing sound of the surf can be heard throughout the home.
Our two-story Poipu Cove Home was recently remodeled by Kauai designer James Parsonson and is now complete with comfortable custom furnishings, Hawaiian artwork and wood floors and will accommodate up to six guests. Both master suites, one up and one down, have Simmons Beautyrest king beds, fine linens, and lovely bathrooms.
There are two pretty punee (daybeds) with French pillows for additional sleeping areas, two 42" HD TV with HD Channels including HBO, DVD Player, wireless internet and two Bose wave radios and CD players.
An expanded oceanfront deck with comfortable lounge chairs and a private, tropical outdoor shower are just two additional features to the main floor of our lovely home.
There are spectacular views from the upper-floor oceanfront deck as well as a sun deck overlooking the front tropical garden, which features an outdoor dining area and a Weber gas barbecue.
Our Poipu Cove Home is now gated and is located around the corner from pretty Baby Beach and near three other white sand beaches, dive, snorkel and surf spots, fine restaurants and two golf courses.

Aloha! We loved your Poipu Cove Home. The furnishings and decor were lovely and comfortable. The location on the Island was perfect for getting around. Watching the turtles and seals in the cove was our favorite part. We enjoyed exploring the island and hanging around on different beaches, but we liked this location and the cove the best. Mahalo.

We loved the cottage. Very comfortable and breezy. The outdoor shower was a definite bonus. We enjoyed the comfortable furnitures and thoughtful amenities. It was very relaxing to start the day on the patio as well as to finish the day watching the turtles in the cove. I believe we will come back again some day.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
We have been purchasing property on Kauai since 1980. We came to appreciate the beauty and tranquility of Poipu's exclusive Baby Beach neighborhood in 1999. We purchased our oceanfront Poipu Cove home because it is twenty feet to the water and overlooks a turtle sanctuary here in the Baby Beach neighborhood. Huge Hawaiian sea turtles hang out in the cove everyday. Simply spectacular. We remodeled the Poipu Cove Home, expanding the oceanfront lanai (deck) and adding a private tropical outdoor shower. We gated the property and created a tropical flower garden and dining area, complete with a Weber gas BBQ. We furnished the home with our signature Simmons beautyrest king beds and fine linens, custom furnishings and fun artwork.
The Unique Benefits at this Private Home
We enjoy relaxing to the soothing sound of the surf on the oceanfront lanai, cooling trade winds blowing, watching the turtles, fish, monk seals, whales, and birds. We love to stroll around the corner to watch the sun set into the Pacific at Baby Beach. We walk to the Beach House and watch the surfers catch waves while enjoying cocktails and pupus or dinner, and then check out the stars on our walk home. The starry nights are incredible here on the south shore. We enjoy walking along the coast to the Sheraton end of Poipu Beach, our favorite spot for swimming because there are showers to rinse off the salt water. The Sheraton Kauai welcomes you to their snack bar and poolside bar. We also enjoy the short walk to Kukuiula Market to pick up fresh fish, vegetables and to choose from their ever-expanding organic food section.
