Your romantic ocean view vacation rental house is located at Las Gaviotas, the 'Crown Jewel' of gated/guarded communities in Rosarito Beach, Baja California, Mexico. Las Gaviotas has been in existence for 40 years and has become the standard by which all private communities are measured throughout the Pacific coastline. The "Endless Summer" beach house includes beautiful breakwater ocean views, a shared year round heated swimming pool and jacuzzi overlooking the ocean, a private sandy beach, tide pools, tennis courts, beach volleyball court and a world renowned surfing location, plus much more.
The two story Endless Summer Villa is fully 3,000 square feet, one of the largest homes in the complex. With five large bedrooms and three bathrooms, this home is ideal for a large family or for a group of friends. It will accomodate 10 people comfortably. This is the only rental with three fireplaces (Living Room, upstairs Master Bedroom, and one of the two downstairs bedrooms). Bed and bath linens are provided also. All you need to bring is beach towels.
The large deck has a 180 degree ocean view. Barbeque on the deck with the gas grill or relax in the lounge chairs under the umbrella. A table and chairs are also provided for meals on the deck.
Your huge living area includes a dining table facing the ocean, a leather couch and love seat, 48-channel cable TV/VCR; CD/Tape Player/Radio; numerous videos; and many recent bestsellers. Our game shelf includes Backgammon, Checkers, Chess, Dominos, Playing Cards, Monopoly, Scrabble, plus tennis rackets.
Your kitchen includes a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, stove/oven, coffeemaker, toaster, blender, silverware and dinnerware, spices, plus all the gadgets you'll need whenever you 'cook in'. A grocery store is located a very short walk across the street from the complex. If you prefer to dine out, there are many restaurants nearby.
Each bedroom includes a dresser, lighted bedside stands, cable TV and an AM/FM clock radio.
The home is infant and toddler friendly. The following items are stored in a closet(Safety gates, portable playpen, high chair, stroller, electrical outlet covers, etc.)
Las Gaviotas is a guard-gated community of three hundred homes, built on a hillside overlooking the Pacific coastline. Part of the charm of this Mexican village is the cobblestone streets lined with palm trees and beautiful bougainvillea meandering throughout. This cozy community is located just 30 minutes south of the San Diego border.
The amenities in Las Gaviotas include an Olympic-size heated swimming pool and spa (overlooking the ocean), beach volleyball and tennis courts, and coin-operated washer and dryers. Children of all ages will love the sandy beach and tide pools. A slate patio with incredible views of the surf and sunset surrounds the large heated pool. You can stroll along the surf on our slate walkway, which stretches the length of the community. This is a renowned surfing location with both a right and left reef break great for both beginners and seasoned wave riders.
If fishing is your sport you can fish right here or if you prefer a boat, you can drive 40 minutes south to Ensenada. Charters are available for both sport and deep-sea fishing. You can also head north 15 minutes to the fishing village next to Fox Studios where the local fishermen will take you out in their pongas early in the morning and back by noon. For you golfers we have two golf courses close by. One is 15 minutes north called "Real Del Mar" or 30 minutes south there is "Baja Mar".
The town of Rosarito is a few minutes north where you will find lots of shopping, antiques, art galleries, and excellent restaurants. You can also rent horses and ride on the beach or you can choose to take your four-wheel drive vehicle on the beach ar Rosarito.
Of course you may just like to do nothing at all. Relax on the balcony with a 180 degree ocean view, drink margaritas, and read a book. Within minutes, the sound of the crashing waves, the ocean breeze, and tequilla will have you napping away.

We have quiet neighbors, a fantastic oceanview and one of the only homes in Las Gaviotas with a dinning room table that seats 10. You can walk to the restaurant across the street for great food and music. There is a grocery store across the street as well. You don't have to drive a car during your stay here. Surfers love this place with a great uncrowded break all year long. Golfers enjoy convenient access to two wonderful courses. Sun worshipers enjoy taking in the sun and the view on the huge balcony. Each trip to Rosarito should include a meal at Puerto Nuevo. At most of the restaurants the lobsters come out split and cooked, with the halves stacked on a platter, served family style. The traditional way to cook them is deep frying, but they are available grilled or steamed upon request. At the last lobster meal this writer enjoyed in Puerto Nuevo, nine halves were served for three of us. Beans, rice and tortillas are also served from bowls on the table, with drawn butter and salsa also to be passed around. Plenty is available for refills of the supplemental delight, and the price runs about $ 13.00 per serving unless larger sizes are requested. For parties, enormous specimens are available for a specified price.
Rent quadrunners and motorcycles at about $35/hour and ride the Sand Dune hills or along the shore.

We chose to purchase this home in Las Gaviotas so that we could share the same experiences with our children that we enjoyed when we were young. We Love Baja and especially Las Gaviotas. We enjoy our role as hosts and will do everything possible to make your stay wonderful. We visit the home once a month from our residence in Southern California, ensuring that the home is constantly in great condition. Just a quick note of thanks for helping us enjoy a wonderful family weekend. Our group consisted of one grand parent and two families. From the moment we walked thru the front door to we felt we were in a special home that was furnished with a lot of love and care. Everything we needed to prepare meals for 9 people could be found in the kitchen and everyone was very comfortable in all the bedrooms. Las Gaviotas is a beautiful complex. The morning walks along the coastal path was my favorite part of the weekend.

This house was perfect. It was very clean and very convenient. There were no problems or complaints at all. The community is very secure, with amenities that include a pool, private beach, shuffleboard and tennis courts. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The location is great, being just a short drive from downtown Rosarito, or a little longer, albeit reasonable drive to Ensenada. I would definitely rent this house again.

Myself and four friends stayed at Villa Endless Summer for two nights/three days. We surfed each morning and each evening and had a great time. On Saturday afternoon we rode quad runners on the sand dunes south of Las Gaviotas. The home was amazing. Realy comfortable. In the evenings we BBQ'd on the patio and relaxed in front of a 180 degree view. We have done this several times now at Las Gaviotas and will be coming back to Villa Endless Summer again. Thanks!

I am happy to write this review at the request of the owner. As I explained on the phone, our three families had a terrific vacation at Vill Endless Summer. The home was even nicer than the photos suggested. Everything we could have hoped for we found at the home and complex (well stocked kitchen with everything we needed for cooking, comfortable bedrooms, a breathtaking ocean view and a beautiful beach). We will be returning again and again. We recommend a drive to the Guadalupe Wine Valley. It was a day trip that we all enjoyed. Thank you once again to the owners for recommending it.

We highly recommend this home to large families. We are a family of six (four children ages six to eighteen). We were joined by another family of four. Plenty of room for everyone to relax. The large living room area and dining room allowed us to spread out and enjoy each others company. BBQing on the patio with the spacious view was terrific. The complex was family friendly (playground, pool, tide pools, sandy beach, great surfing for the adults, shopping across the street, tennis, etc.) Everyone had a great time. We'll be back!

This home is absolutely beautiful and has an amazing views. From the moment we arrived and checked in at the guard station we had a good feeling about the community. The guards and the people at Las Gaviotas were very friendly. The views were breathtaking. The coble-stone roads and community gardens were kept up very nice. We enjoyed walking along the beach boardwalk and watching the sunrise. The rooms were very large and there is a huge garage with surfboards, boogie boards and kayaks. It was a 10 minute drive to the main town of Rosarito and only five minutes to Puerto Nuevo. The owners were also very friendly and responded timely to our requests. I will definitely recommend this place to my family and friends and we look forward to returning. Thanks.

We appreciate very much all you did for us on our last minute booking. We are three good friends who grew up surfing together and have been going to Las Gaviotas for over ten years. Your home is the nicest one that we have stayed in so far. The addition of the two man kayak, the one man kayak and the other beach/pool stuff in the garage puts you over the top. We'll be back!!!
