We loved every minute of staying in the Seaside Cottage. This was our 45 Wedding Anniversary. We spent the evenings sitting outside by the fireplace with a glass of wine, listening to the creek behind us and the frogs. They were singing away. Walked down to the beach in the daytime. It was only a block away. What a wonderful weekend we had. The cottage is perfect for a couple. Very quiet area. Good Offstreet parking. The cottage was spotless. The kitchen was full stocked for cooking, lots of spices were there. The bathtub is hug. It really is a bath tub of two. Again we just loved it all.

My wife and two small children took the Surfliner up from SD for the second time this July to visit "our" beach house in Santa Barbara. What a great experience. This is actually our second trip. (Last time we stayed next door in the Seashell cottage). Both places are extremely clean and well appointed. The beach is a 2 min. walk away, so we were there constantly. Great job on the renovation. Would totally suggest this to anyone wanting a true beach cottage experience.

(Transcribed from the Guest Book at the home) We are really enjoying this cottage! It is so clean, well taken care of, with everything we could want for our little vacation. Our two kids immediately drew pictures of an enchanted garden, no doubt inspired by this place. We are so glad we found this place to rent instead of a motel in Santa Barbara, which was our other option. Hope to come again. Thanks.

(Transcribed from the Guest Book at the home)The Seaside Cottage is truly comfy-cozy. We loved all the attention to detail – from the wonderful art on the walls to the dishes in the cabinets. There is truly a feeling of being a guest in a person’s home. Loved the patio with sun all afternoon & the proximity to that fabulous beach. We don’t want to go home!!

(Transcribed from the Guest Book at the home) What an extra ordinary architectural and visual gem! Your cottage is imbued with a lovely balance of comfort, harmony and a deep level of serenity. Your blue fireplace from 1903 is a treasure to behold. That complemented by the stunning Roycroft Chandelier and Arts & Crafts luminous shades. WOW!! Enchanted, Heavenly and refreshing. Will definitely make this a must return destination Haven!

(transcribed from the Guest Book at the home)A jewel to behold is this Seaside Cottage! Especially enjoyed the comfy “Goldilocks” feeling, the sun’s shadows upon its cozy walls, the exquisite surroundings of lovely antiques, as well as the hugs from Eucalyptus trees and the Pacific’s beauty.

(Transcribed from the Guest Book at the home)What a heavenly spot my son Michael and his lady Susan have chosen to have us all enjoy – a breath of Springtime all the year round – and surrounded with so many memories and evidence of fireplace, chandeliers, etc. etc. with which we grew up. A marvelous place to relax and cherish. Long may it wave!

(Transcribed from the Guest Book at the home) We thoroughly enjoyed your little cottage by the beautiful Pacific. You left no decor detail out. From the Dutch door, to all the hardware, to the seahorse motif on the corner cupboards. The original hardwood floors are what made this house feel like home. Eating out on the patio our last evening was sooo relaxing and romantic. To top it off, the 75ish temp. was also most accommodating. Thanks!

(Trascribed from the Guest Book at the home)We are thrilled that you are sharing your beautiful home with others. We were in awe of all of the beautiful details of your cottage. The kitchen was wonderful to cook in; the outdoor living in the back is so secluded and peaceful. Visiting from Phoenix made us appreciate that we could open all of the windows. Your apple tree produces delicious apples and your fresh basil was wonderful. We hate to go home…..until again.
