The bedroom has a new king-size bed, mattress and bos springs, a ceiling fan, and double sliding glass doors that lead out onto the patio overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The living room is spacious and bright, also with double sliding glass doors leading out to the patio with views of the Gulf of Mexico, Lido Key and LongBoat Keys'. The full kitchen is perfect for cooking the fresh fish you may catch during your stay if you decide to drop in a line.
There is a beach that is situated on a beautiful sandy cove frequented with dolphins and manatees. If you enjoy fishing, or watching people catch fish this is the place. The private pier has some of the best fishing in Florida. No patience required. At the end of the day take in breath taking sunsets while the dolphins feed at the fertile fishing grounds and sail boats sail by at sunset. Ocean breezes keep things cool in the summer and warm in the winter, as you view the boats, listen to the birds, and admire the views you'll find the serenity you're looking for.
The property comes equiped with Fishing Gear, Beach Supplies, and His and Her Bicycles. You may even get a free fishing lesson from the owner.

My husband & I really like this location for a feeling that is all Florida! Great sunsets on the Gulf, plenty of palm trees & birds add to the tropical feel we look for. The owner is nice & showed us how to fish off the pier that is only a short distance from your front door. Kayaks are provided and launching is easy. The Village is a short 5min walk. Perfect! Tim, you have a very special at Sandy Cove. See you next year and thanks again for being so friendly. Rino & leslyeRecommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car.

Why the Owner Chose Sandy Cove:
I am a native Sarasotan who knows this is the best fishing hole in Sarasota. A safe cove to swim and snorkel. It's a virtual aquarium. Dolphins are an everyday event and manatees feeding on the grass flat in the cove are a common occurance. Sandy Cove was featured in Better Homes and Gardens magazine in 1973.
