Everything is fresh, clean, and new...including the furniture, kitchen supplies, and beautiful ceramic tile floors throughout. The bathrooms and closets are also new and well organized.
The romantic master bedroom also has a full wall of glass, leading out to the lanai. If you keep your bathroom door open, you can even see the ocean from your shower!
If you feel compelled to check your e-mail, or surf the internet, we have provided free wireless high-speed internet with secure access for your laptop so that you can use your computer on the over 23 foot lanai balcony that has direct and side views of the ocean and beach.
Shell collectors will love long walks on the Sanibel Island beach that is famous for the incredible variety and quantity of sea shells! Sanibel Island has been named as one of the top shelling beaches in the July 2008 issue of Travel & Leisure magazine. Sanibel has also recently been featured on the Travel Channel.
This well-equipped condo includes special extra touches because we want you to have what you need for a fantastic vacation. Enjoy our high quality plush lanai furniture, new pillows and blankets. There is also a washer and dryer in the condo. Ceiling fans were installed in the bedrooms and lanai. If you love to cook you'll be delighted with the extensive high quality kitchen supplies. If you would rather leave the cooking to someone else, there are over 40 delicious restaurants on Sanibel. After dinner we have over 50 different movies from which you can choose to watch.
Sanibel Surfside only has 38 units, providing a calm and peaceful ambiance for your vacation. Most of the Sanibel Surfside owners are residents here and have been very friendly and welcoming to our guests. Children are always welcome. They can swim in the pool and ocean, or build sand castles on the beach. The entire family can rent bikes (which can be delivered to you) and enjoy the bike friendly paths of Sanibel. We've also provided a variety of children's movies in our video library to give the adults some quiet time to enjoy the lanai views and sounds.
For your convenience we have a closet full of beach chairs, beach umbrella, pool/beach toys, coolers, beginner's tennis rackets, etc... for you to borrow during your vacation. So pack light, and enjoy our many extra amenities!
Are you a golfer?... There are 2 golf courses nearby. Do you enjoy tennis? There are 2 tennis courts (resurfaced July 2008) behind the pool area for Sanibel Surfside guests only. With only 38 units in this quaint peaceful complex, it is easy to find an available court. There are no tennis or shuffleboard fees.
There is a beautiful, uncrowded, refreshing heated pool!
Sanibel Surfside is also a SMOKE-FREE environment. The Condo's association by-laws do not allow smoking in the units, on the lanais, balconies, or anywhere near the pool. You can enjoy the fresh smell of the ocean breeze.
We use the assistance of a local helpful & friendly rental property management company for many reasons. You can easily check-in to obtain your keys regardless of how late you might arrive on Sanibel. Also, they will quickly respond 24 hours a day if you are locked out or misplace your keys. Their professional office will handle any paperwork and safely/securely collect your deposit & rental payments. They can also help you with any requests you may have while staying in our condo. The rental management company has a complimentary computer and printer available to you in their large, beautiful lobby, if you need to print a boarding pass or an important e-mail. Their services help us to provide excellent customer service to our guests so that you may have a first-rate, relaxing, and worry-free vacation.
If you decide to be our guest we will instruct our rental property management company to subtract $35 from your rent to make up for their $35 booking fee.
Rental periods are always Saturday to Saturday (with Check-In at 3pm and Check-Out at 10am). Our condo association regulations do not allow guest reservations for less than one week. Sanibel is such a fantastic island that you will be glad you stayed at least a week! We can confirm reservations up to 12 months in advance.

If you want to see it...Bed Bath and Beyond sells this comfortable model. Or we can e-mail you a photo of it completely set up. It is more comfortable than a sofa bed.

- Cooking Utensils Provided: This well-equipped kitchen even has a blender for the adults and 2 non-breakable dish sets for children. Program the coffee maker for your morning treat while watching the sunrise. If you prefer tea we have a tea kettle AND a tea pot. A new Henckels 13 piece knife set has just been added. There is even a waffle 4-in-1 electric grill. We can send you a detailed list of amenities...too many to list! "The Joy of Cooking" cook book is there for your use too.

- Broadband Internet: Wireless High Speed DSL access through EMBARQ. Bring your laptop... EMBARQ does not require you to install their software with a disc. The software is built into the wireless EMBARQ modem. If needed Embarq customer service # is in condo.
- WiFi (Wireless Internet): Private wireless security code will be provided to you when you check in to protect your laptop's privacy. High Speed!

- Every condo has unique amenities...Our condo includes: Free High Speed Wireless Internet (secure), Large Lanai with screen AND glass doors, Washer/Dryer in condo, Closet with Beach Supplies (Chairs-Beach Umbrella-Coolers-Toys-Raft-Child Tennis Raquets), 3 Flat Screen TVs, 3 DVD players, 1 VHS player, Dining Room seats 6, Bar area seats 3 additional guests, Hair Dryers, Scale, Miscellaneous Games and Movies, Binoculars, Vacuum Cleaner, Dust Buster, Portable Fan, Step Stool, Laundry Baskets,and an iron with full size ironing board. Guest Room has 2 twin beds that pop up from a trundle and can be separate or also easily rolled and belted together to create a King size bed. Also a Queen size Raised 25" high AeroBed Premier Comfort Zone Bed, and a twin Aerobed for a child. A starter kit (clothes soap, dishwasher detergent, liquid dish soap, new sponge, toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, and hand/body soap bars) will be there upon your arrival.

- No Pets Allowed: There are a lot of kennels nearby in Ft Meyers if you want to be able to visit your pet while on vacation.
- Kid Friendly: Children are welcome. Call "Sanibel Sea School" at 239-472-8585 for day camp information.
- Minimum Age Limit for Renters: Due to the condo association by-laws you must be at least 25 years old to sign the rental agreement. Violating this rule could lead to eviction and forfeiture of rent.
- Smoking Not Allowed: Sanibel Surfside prohibits smoking in the condos, on the balconies & lanais, in the elevator and near the pool area.

Why the Owner Chose Sanibel Surfside
We selected this Sanibel condo after several years of patiently searching for "the perfect condo" on the "perfect beach".
This large lanai was the closest to the ocean. The views and sounds were irresistible! The inside of the condo is equally beautiful.
We were also attracted to the quiet and small size of Sanibel Surfside.
We both love to play tennis at Sanibel Surfside and Mike is thrilled to be so close to the golf courses.

Our condo is unique because it was recently completely remodeled during 2007-2008.
There are many extra special touches for our guests.
The lanai's plush thick cushions are one of our guest's favorite amenities....along with the high-speed wireless internet and 50+ movies. The lanai also has outer sliding glass doors which is rare - if it does rain you can still relax on the lanai and stay dry!
Sanibel Surfside's unique master bedrooms have an entire wall of sliding glass doors to watch the ocean while resting in bed.
All the furniture and bedding are new, fresh, updated, and clean.
Our goal is first-class service so that you will want to return or recommend us to your friends.
We have experience staying at individually owned properties on our own vacations and know what "extras" we hope to find in the condo.
