Very seldom do you stay in a place where you immediately feel at home. But we did here. The condo is well equipped, clean and comfortable and the weather was wonderful. So much to see here, we were busy touring all the sights - Pima Air & Space Museum, Titan Missile Museum, Tombstone, Bisbee and Kartchner Caverns. Recommend lunch at the Tucson Tamale Co. and supper at Guadalajara Restaurant. Cindy and Greg are great hosts. Definitely stay here again.

Pastime Suites felt like a home away from home complete with two wonderful owners. From the first email to the move-in experience and everything after that, they could not have been more professional, responsive or helpful. They said that they wanted to build in an ideal location in Tucson that is close to everything, and it's clear that this property was the right choice. Places close by include Mimi’s Café, Jason’s Deli, Olive Garden, many other restaurants, UPS, Fry’s, Sunflower and Sprouts Markets, Walgreens, Walmart, Home Depot and Super Target. Any other stores can be found at the nearby Tucson Mall. Jacob’s Park for a picnics -it has an accessible playground - and Rio Vista Park for nature walks are nearby. Ten miles of beautiful trails that are part of the Rillito River Walk allow for hiking and biking, and the section accessed by 1st Avenue and River Road is even shaded in the morning. Actually, everything is near that one would need within a 20-minute ride at most and usually within minutes by car, including major city sightseeing destinations and all that the U of A offers visitors. The duplexes afford comfort, attractiveness and convenience. The photos only hint at the spaciousness and quality of the interiors. The duplex was immaculately clean, neatly landscaped and stocked with everything needed - except food if you don’t count condiments - to live there for a month. The area was safe and private and, in their efforts to continually improve the property, the owners were even in the process of installing a security gate. Cindy and Gregg are probably the best part of the rental. Cindy helped fit a water filter to their kitchen faucet and put lifters under the two front legs of the bed. She and Gregg also brought in an extra bed for my guest and fitted my bed with a cozy egg crate for sore hips. Cindy gave information and advice about the area and acted as if she were a longtime friend, while perfectly respecting privacy when no help was needed. They were both always very responsive. For example, Cindy suggested stores and restaurants and where to find a post office and mailbox close by, to name a few things. It felt very secure to be new in a city, knowing that they were so accommodating and available. With all the advantages of the duplex itself plus the caring service by Cindy and Gregg, anyone would love to stay at Pastime Suites and enjoy the quality, convenience, and superb value.

Recently I stayed at Pastime Suites for a month while working at the courthouse. The apartment was clean, spacious and included everything I could ever want. Cindy is an attentive landlord who routinely checked to make sure I had everything I needed. The location is conveniant and the grounds are quiet, clean and safe. It was exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a longterm apartment to make Pastime Suites the first call.

The unit was just as the listing description and photos presented. The unit was like new--clean and well maintained. We hiked, biked, golfed, attended a rodeo, enjoyed the Biosphere and downtown Tucson and found the location to be ideally located. Cindy and Greg were responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely refer to family and friends.

From the information on the website we knew exactly what to expect - but were pleasantly surprised to find the apartment even nicer than the pictures show. It was well appointed and maintained,.. and very clean. The location lent itself to nearby shops (a Super Target within walking distance) and restaurants. We especially enjoyed Sweet Tomatoes and The Good Egg. Best of all, Cindy and Gregg, the owners, were available, friendly, and very helpful with any question or need. They were "on site" and made you feel welcome, comfortable, and at home. We would certainly return to Pastime Suites and would highly recommend them to our friends.

Gregg & Cindy's duplexes provide everything needed in the way of a home environment for our daughter as she completed her final Uof A classes while working full time. For 3 months Pastime was the ideal location; beautifully decorated & equipped, quiet, safe, and convenient to campus, I-10, gym, shopping, and work. Our daughter could not have had a more perfect location to live alone and have the comfort of knowing that Gregg & Cindy were just a phone call away. These duplexes are more than rentals, they are truly a home away from home. Thanks Gregg & Cindy!

This particular property is every bit as beautiful and comfortable as the pictures indicate. Very clean and cozy and well situated to shopping and great restaurants. The owners are on the property daily cleaning and making sure their guests have everything they need and are quick to help with any situation. They are very concerned that their guests are comfortable. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who is travelling to the Tuscon area and in need of accomodations. If ever I am visiting Tuscon again, I will not hesitate to stay at this location again! Fabulous! Thank You!

We stayed a month in April. It was everything as advertised with very informed & informative landfolks. They were very accommodating to our schedule & let us come a day early. It was very clean & the design was well thought out. A very enjoyable stay. We recommended it to some friends who also found it to be quite nice.

I recently had an occasion to stay at the Pastime location and was very pleased to say the least. The location is good, the duplex is quiet, and the features of the duplex are great. Cindy and Greg are just super people to do business with, and are very accomadating. I would definitely stay at this location again and would recommend this site to anyone.

Ok, you can read all the other testimonials posted here. They are all true. But do you want to know the best part? You get GREGG and CINDY who are friendly, responsive, caring people -- the best landlords you could hope for. We spent three months last winter at Pastime Suites and we look forward to returning for a second stay next winter.

I can't say enough about this wonderful opportunity and great people, more like friends than landlords. This lovely quiet place is in a nice location: walking distance from dozens of shops and restaurants, and a very short, simple drive from U of A. I was welcomed arriving from airport near dinnertime on a Saturday, shown a spotlessly clean duplex thoughtfully equipped, even with spices and bottled water in the fridge. Being made to feel welcome was nearly a daily delight the entire month. The place is well built, well insulated, thoughtfully laid out, well furnished. Internet access was essential for me, and the entertainment center was fully up to date (I hear stories about satellite TV being unreliable during storms, but this is Tucson!), including a couple devices I haven’t yet learned how to operate. Cindy & Gregg kindly offered good advice on restaurants, trips to Rocky Point, hiking nearby. I doubt there is anything a hotel in Tucson could do to get my business if this is an available alterantive.

We are from Tucson but teach in India. Returing to Tucson to visit our son and other family has been a real trial as we've only had 1 room and had to walk across the common room to get to the bathroom. We found Cindy and Gregg's place and fell in love. The apartments are CLEAN and quiet! Kitchens are supplied and we even made homemade tacos several times and had our son over for dinner! The washer and dryer were a blessing and the Internet allowed us to stay in contact with our school and the selection of TV stations helped "catch us up" on American TV. We will be back, again and again! Wonderful place to stay!

My husband and I were in a tough spot to find housing fast while we were in between homes. Gregg and Cindy were wonderful. They made what would have been a stressful time easy. We stayed for a month and I can't begin to say how much I appreciate Gregg and Cindy's hospitality. Thanks again for everything!!!

My wife and I stayed here for two weeks during the gem show and were completely satisfied at every step of the process from our initial inquiry to checkout. Cindy and Gregg are great hosts, friendly, helpful, and responsive. The unit is charming, clean, quiet, and well equipped. It is convenient to shopping, downtown, attractions and the gem shows. All this at an affordable price. Unless you are looking for a posh resort, you would be crazy not to stay here. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if we return to Tucson. Whenever we go to Tucson - several times a year as our sons are in college at U of A - we prefer to stay in these quiet, lovely duplexes. Although in the middle of everything - restaurants, movie theatres, shopping mall - the units are comfortable, very clean and QUIET! Much, much better than a hotel or resort. We particularly appreciate the fully equipped kitchen and the washer and dryer in each unit. Truly a "home away from home." Just wish these friendly, helpful owners had more of these units available as as vacation rentals as they are often booked well in advance. We guarantee you won't find nicer accommodations at this price!

We had a very good stay at this duplex. Cindy was very nice and even got up in the middle of the night to let us in when we arrived. We were focused on hosting family members from Tucson with meals and it was nice that there were some starter foods and spices but lacked some tools such as a grater, peeler, baking pan, etc. We had made the trip to be with some family members who were ill and after making the reservation, recoginized one of them (my father-in-law) would not be in town. I spent several weeks trying to change my resevation to no avail. (The calendar showed a unit was open on the following week but Cindy didn't approve our request) I looked for other accomodations but none were close-by so we retained our original date. My husband scheduled a return trip 6 weeks later to see his Dad but sadly, his Dad passed before he got to see him. An unfortunate scheduling mishap. I would reccommend these units for all other reasons.
Owner response:Unfortunately I had not updated the calendar and there were no other options otherwise I would have been happy to accomadate.

My wife and stayed here over the holidays. Cindy was very helpful, keeping in touch several times during the weeks leading up to our reservation and called us the day of our scheduled check in to advise us of construction issues on I-10. The location is very well maintained and has everything you would need while traveling. I would stay at this location again.

All I needed was my toothbrush ! ! This has been my home away from home for the past 3 months while here in Tucson on business. The accomadations far exceeded my expectations, very clean, comfortable, close to everything from restaurants to recreational parks and from shopping to sightseeing. The beautiful view of the Catalina Mountains right out the front door is beyond words. Gregg and Cindy have been very helpful and knowledgable as I attempted to become familiar not only with Tucson but other points of interest throughtout Arizona. I look forward to a return visit and would encourage anyone to stay right here when they head out to Tucson.

The amenities were exactly as described. The owners were friendly and helpful even updating their internet service to provide us with high quality wireless. After a day out-and-about it was very relaxful to return to such comfortable surroundings. For business or an extended stay we definetly recommend. Ron and Karen
