It's the best of both worlds! You can enjoy country peace and relaxation all day, yet when you want to explore all that Walla Walla (or, perhaps, Waitsburg and Dayton) has to offer - it's moments away!
It's just a straight 10 minute shot to shopping & the small but nicely done modern airport. Next to that is the vintage WWI and WWII era airport area which is home to 20 wineries & tasting rooms and Walla Walla's own coffee roastery with the best coffee in the Northwest!
5 minutes more and you are downtown cruising the historic streets of Walla Walla - popping into fine tasting rooms, restaurants and unique boutiques. Historic Whitman college sprawls about the downtown area and offers strolls through park-like landscaping dotted with artwork and aged trees.
Go the other direction and it's 7-20 minutes to downtown Waitsburg and Dayton, where more renowned wineries, cafés and shops await.
Lewis Peak Estates sits on a 7+ acre parcel at the foot of Lewis Peak. Partially landscaped and partially wild -bird watchers will be delighted! Many varieties not seen by even our bird feeding neighbors come to hang out by the little creek, big trees and other growth here. Biscuit Ridge, just 5 min. away, has hummingbird viewing that has delighted the locals here for years. For hunters there is easy access to the Mill Creek Watershed and other hunting areas in the nearby Blue Mountains. Ski Bluewood slopes are a 45 minute drive and when it's a good snow year it's a great, smaller ski resort with lots of good skiers and snowboarders!
The beautiful and unique interior invites you in - play the baby grand and guitar(be sure to sign the guitar if you play it!), relax - or throw a great dinner party and celebrate!
The kitchen is gorgeous and can handle multiple people working at the same time. Equipped by a good cook herself, the kitchen has lots of granite counterspace, a double oven, glasstop stove, lg. capacity frig, trash compactor and dishwasher. There are full service dishes and utensils for 12 w/ extra service up to 17.
Each of the 5 luxurious bedrooms has a queen bed and lots of room! Every bedroom exudes comfort and charm. 3 of the 5 bedrooms have their own private bathroom and there are another 1 1/2 baths for your use as well. The spacious 3600 sq.ft. house has plenty of room and furnishings for family reunions, retreats or to have it all to yourself!
The 2 car garage joins the house with the covered breezeway and there is plenty of on-grounds parking. 20+ cars have been parked before - all on the property- not the street!
The wrap-around porch beckons when the evening comes...the porch swing is a favorite. Upstairs, the private veranda off the family room is a perfect visiting spot and get-away from the other activities going on in the house. The best star-gazing in the area takes place right here!

My family (14 people) stayed here for my daughters wedding at a vineyard in Walla Walla and everyone was very impressed. The rooms and house are very spacious and the kitchen very well stocked for cooking/entertaining. The hot tub was an excellent way to relax at night! This property is very clean and provides outstanding accomodations. Its owners are very attentive to making sure your stay is great and addressing any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend this property

We all LOVED the house, thank you so much for your hospitality. There were 3 families, and the layout worked out perfectly -- each couple was able to have a bedroom with its own bath, and the kids did slumber parties in the other bedrooms and piled together on beanbags to watch movies. The kitchen had everything we needed and was great for large meals (and we loved the large dining room table and view of the hills). The kids loved the treehouse and the yard, and we had a few piano players in our midst, so we got to hear some tunes on the piano. (Also -- we put the tambourines up in the pantry at one point.....kids getting a little too loud....not sure if we brought them back down or not, so if they are not by the piano, they are up in the pantry). We had a lovely weekend, tasted some great wines (as always), and also ate for the first time at Brasserie 4, which was fabulous!

We're back!! Mom's group Retreat!! Fun times were had by all again. We love this house and we're so grateful that we were allowed to stay here again. Eisenhour sculpture group had a fabulous time here - we all loved it - Walla Walla wines are great- too many good ones! Ike's show at Rulo Winery this weekend was a great hit - so maybe future shows will pull another Port Townsend group you way. Glad your daughters got to see the work. What a beautiful scenery Walla Walla has - we love all the views around here...Oh my god, we LOVED the house. Our group didn’t want to leave. We’re talking about our next visit... The trip went wonderfully! We had a great time at the house, and I guess we never got our ducks in order long enough to fill out the guest book. The house was beautifully apportioned, we lacked for nothing--all the ingredients we needed for our stay were there, and all the utensils and cooking materials. The bedrooms were comfortable & quiet, and everything was clean and worked properly. The furniture was comfortable and new, and there was great spaces to hang around in as a group. The hot tub was popular (thanks for the water fill-up!), and we had a bonfire one evening. Very cozy! Thanks again for your excellent hospitality. We look forward to planning trips to Walla Walla in the future, and will definitely remember the wonderful time we had at Lewis Peak Estates when we make our plans!!! Sten & Nete Olsen

We spent 3 days & nights in your beautiful home and were pleasantly surprised to find our every need met right here. With 16 of us, there were plenty of towels (even for the hot tub). The kids enjoyed exploring the grounds, and playing board & video games. There was never a dull moment! We even picked enough blackberries for a large berry cobbler! In Walla Walla we visited the Fort Walla Walla Museum & Children's museum. We visited LeEcole 41 & Bergevin lane wineries and we were delighted with our visit to Tom Lamb's for hummingbird viewing.
