The Dog Trot on the River - Blue Ridge Mountains Cabin Rentals Nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains near Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain and the Blue Ridge Parkway, Linville River Farm reflects nature at its best. The gracious hospitality and unique accommodations are so distinct- so special- that your memories of one stay here can adjust your attitude for months to come. These are new cottages designed by Historic Architects in Atlanta, GA, This unit is called a Dog Trot it has no common walls yet has a common breeze way. The covered breezeway makes it great for cool days and nights on the river as well as Unit A and Unit B provide a family to be 20 feet and still have all the amenities. Unit A has a King Sized Bed and sleeper with a Fireplace and full kitchen and bath and Unit B has 2 queen beds with everything the same. If you need both just call as each unit is owned separately. Sit on the covered porch listen to the river and enjoy the breeze as you may be “Shooting the Breeze” as well. Once you have seen the Cottages you will return an may bring your special friends as we have several to rent. Weekly or Monthly. Come for our Festivals and Art shows here in the High Country. Each Fish Camp units have the following amenities: Fireplace Private bathroom with shower Washer/Dryer Full Kitchen Front and back porches TV with CD & VCR Hand-made Avery County beds Sleeper sofas Either River or Garden views When you are here in the High Country on the Blue Ridge you are at 3600 Feet Elevations and climb to 5200 on Beech and Grandfather Mountain.
