With construction completed in early 2008, you will be among the very first to stay with us.
This house was built strictly to be used as a rental for the summer/fall season, keeping the furniture, appliances and entire house "new" and pristine.
(- Clean - Clean - Clean-) We put forth EXTREME efforts and take Great Pride in keeping this house immaculate for each and every rental week
We offer 3 beautifully LARGE bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a completely furnished living room , a full kitchen including a dishwasher, a spacious dinning area with dining amenities available for 8 and a laundry facility. Central air and ceiling fans in every room ensures a constant and comfortable temperature throughout the entire house.
GT Summer House features over 9 foot ceilings, wood flooring, an ample sized open floor plan and knotty pine walls, making this brand new home extremely comfortable for 8 people.
Unlike most Cooperstown rentals, GT Summer House never has a full time resident, so your vacation will be spent in a clean and uncluttered home.
We supply the benefits of a home that can not be found in a hotel stay; privacy, cleanliness and comfort, but, without the clutter or uneasy feeling of staying in someone elses home surrounded by their personal items.
GT Summer House is located on 150 acres of beautiful pasture that has been in the family for over 40 years.
Enjoy the serenity and view of the beautiful rolling hills and lush valley. Experience the vast array of wildlife including Eastern white tail deer, turkeys, Canadian Geese and on special occasions you might catch a glimpse of our resident fox and her litter of kits.
It is so serene and peaceful here...
In the evenings, after a busy day, sit on our covered front porch and Relax.
Feel free to Hike and Explore the property.
The,one acre, groomed Recreation Field in front of the house provides the area and equipment to:
Play Badminton or Volleyball (ball,racquets,net,ect... provided & set up)
Play a game of Baseball....
Sit around the Camp Fire (fire pit,seating,& wood provided),
Play a game of "Horseshoes" (pits & horseshoes also provided).
We supply the necessary equipment needed to enjoy Fishing in our (NY State stocked)Otego Creek or two large streams
We welcome guest to visit our Blacksmith Shop (on the property), see hand forged iron work made the old fashion way.
All this with a backdrop of the most beautiful sunsets you can imagine.
The view is magnificent and our location is a short accessible drive to and from Cooperstown and the Dreams Park, helping make your vacation stay less stressful.

8 Min to Cooperstown
12 Min to Oneonta All Star Village
We are conveniently located on County Hwy. 11, making travel to and from the Dreams Park and Cooperstown area a simple and short trip.(Bittersweet Lane is our private driveway clearly marked with a street sign)
