Our family stayed at GT Summerhouse while our son played baseball at Dreams Park. This house is new (about 5 yrs old), spacious, and was very, very clean! The layout is terrific because there are two bedrooms with Queen beds on one side with a full bath and there's another larger bedroom (Queen bed and 2 Singles) with another full bath that has a washer/dryer on the other side. The kitchen is big, new, and fully equipped. There is WiFi access at the house and free long distance calling. It's conveniently located right between Dreams Park and Downtown Cooperstown about an 8- 10 min drive to each. We enjoyed badmitton, volleyball, walks around the property, and making S'mores in the fire pit! There is lots of land to explore! Theresa and Gary are very friendly, helpful, and responsive hosts. On our way out, we stopped to see bats being turned at the Cooperstown Bat Co. in Hartwick which is about 1 mile from the house. We highly recommend this house for your stay in Cooperstown!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Besides having a great time at Dreams Park, our house was GREAT!!!! It was exactly what I excepted..clean, quaint and the views were fabulous. The care takers were very helpful and friendly. I would definatly stay there again and I have already recommended the house to friends for next year.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We stayed at GT Summerhouse with another family for our sons' Cooperstown baseball week. We had four adults and six kids (ages 5 - 10) with us. This house was very clean and had a great floor plan to accommodate all of us very comfortably (even when our two players joined us on the last night). Our goal when looking for a house was to find a place that our six "non-players" could have a great time when we weren't at the park. Well, this house was everything we expected and more. There is a huge field for the kids to run and play, including volleyball net, sports equipment, etc. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the 'swimming hole,' which was a hop, skip, and jump from the house, and where they spent most of their time both fishing and swimming. The nature 'hike' to the creek was fun for all too. Theresa and Gary are very welcoming and accommodating. And the best part, the park really was only 10 minutes away from the house! We hope to return to GT Summerhouse in two years when our next set of players are twelve!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

PERFECT is the only word to describe this comfortable home for our stay during a hectic baseball week. Having this cool, private, convenient, and comfortable home made this week in Cooperstown more pleasurable for our family. It is EXACTLY as advertised, and Gary and Theresa are SUPER to work with from the beginning to the end. Thanks to both of you, and we definitely recommend your home to anyone going to Cooperstown.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We recently held a guys weekend at the G T Summerhouse. What a great venue for this! The house was spotless and there was plenty of room for everyone to sleep. The property itself was incredible -- lots of room for us to throw the baseball/football/frisbee around and hit pop flies. We also really enjoyed exploring the hills and the creek. Looking for a place to stay while our grandson played at a Cooperstown tournament, we found the GT Summer house - and what a find! Quaint, exceptionally clean, beautiful area and lovely, hospitalble hosts, this was the perfect home away from home for our family. The grandsons and nephew LOVED the outdoors and fishing stream - we loved the privacy, quiet and views. All the comforts we like with thoughtful consideration including very comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen and additional entertainment items for the boyz - fishing poles, sports equipment, horseshoes, and a great fire-pit! Gary and Theresa are so warm, helpful and considerate --- they loved showing our 'city boys' things around the farm and shared wonderful veggies from their garden which we eagerly enjoyed. If you are looking for a special place, immaculate and well-cared for, grab this wonderful home and location first --- the pictures just don't do it justice. GT Summerhouse is perfect if you are looking for a country getaway, baseball hall of fame location, or are participating in the Dreams Park Baseball tournament. The new house comfortably sleeps 8 and compared to houses our friends rented it is not cluttered with full time resident items. Owners Theresa and Gary are great, before you visit or while on property have them make a "lucky horseshoe" for your Dreams Park team! We had one made for our team and the boys won the skills competition and finished 7th overall in the tournament. They had fun and touched the "lucky horseshoe" before every game... it works! One more bonus... the Cooperstown Bat Company factory is 1.5mi away and you can visit to watch them make wood bats, very cool and a hidden non-tourist spot in the small town of Hartwick. You can't go wrong with GT Summerhouse, we will be back in 2-years for the 12u tournament!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

What an absolute gem of a place. Gary and Theresa feel more like family then someone just renting a place. Very very clean and spacious house and wonderful yard - fire pit included. Very close to Cooperstown and Dreams Park. I would not hesitate to suggest this house to anyone looking to stay in Cooperstown.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a wonderful experience here! The house is great and the land is beautiful. We walked around and even got to try some fishing. The house was clean, new, comfortable and roomy. The huge lawn, bbq and firepit were awesome. My daughter had a great time fishing in the creek. The house is very close to Cooperstown, the Dreams Park and anything else you need. Theresa and Gary were great and very accommodating. I highly recommend this house.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

I can't say enough good things about the house and Theresa and Gary. The house was perfect. Clean, comfortable, spacious, and homey. We played sports all afternoon on the huge front lawn and BBQ'd on the front porch under a clear star-filled sky at night. Close to Cooperstown and the grocery store. Really, couldn't have asked for a better spot to get away to. Theresa and Gary were wonderful as well. Kind, thoughtful, and available should you need anything. And, as the other person commented, the eggs were delicious.
