This very private, elegantly furnished and decorated cottage, is designed for two and can sleep up to four, has a luxurious queen bedding and all the expected amenities, and is available by the day, week, weekend or month for your private and relaxing getaway ... linens and paper products provided ... fully equipped kitchen with utensils and all cooking equipment that you might expect.
We are happy to assist you with any special requests or arrangements for that important occasion - anniversary, birthday, honeymoon or romantic getaway that may occur during your stay.

This homey cabin was exactly what we needed for a getaway. So much woods around us we were able to let our dogs run free--but reasonably close enough to go "to town" and have some fun on Lake Lure and ziplining. Bob at Golden Getaways was easy to work with an the owner Judy goes above and beyond. Nice folks-great stay-couldn't be happier!Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway.

We stayed a total of three nights and I have to say that this was a perfect getaway, the fire flies at night were amazing and the house itself is comfortable and cozy. There was coffee, and breakfast on our arrival, we hiked and basically never wanted to leave! Thank you so much for this wonderful stay!Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+.
