We stayed here for a week in April while we took care of personal business in Denver. Sooo much better than a tiny hotel room. The house itself is very clean and attractive, in a nice residential neighborhood and convenient to everything. Kitchen and bath were well stocked; great king bed. We had everything we needed, including a lovely outdoor deck with grill and eating area in the back to relax in the evenings. Only minutes from the great restaurants and activities in LoDo and downtown wih plenty of parking. Stephen was very helpful in getting us settled in and explaining how everything worked. (Thanks, Stephen!) We'd definitely return.
Owner response:Glad you guys had a great time - thanks for the kind words and recommendations.

Stayed here the week after Christmas through New Years while visiting our grandson for his 1st birthday. Our son and daughter both live in Denver. Great place-great location! We enjoyed the fireplace, although the weather was perfect. Well maintained and very clean. Did not get to use the bikes which are great-hope to do that in a future stay. Stephen, who owns the Gregory Inn and manages this unit is most helpful. We use VRBO frequently and we highly recommend this unit in Denver. We will stay again on our next trip to Denver.
Owner response:Glad you guys had a great time - next time come and use the bikes - best way there is to get some exercise and explore the city

"To VRBO and Stephen of the Gregory Inn - Thank you so much for providing amazing service and such a lovely, quiet, yet accessible lovely place to stay during our visit. We will do our best to book with you when we are in Denver for any events. I attended a conference at the convention center and my husband worked on his computer at the condo during the day. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the home was so roomy and cozy at the same time. It was a much better option than a hotel with more room and more privacy. The furniture was very comfortable and the bed gave us the best night sleep! We were so comfortable we slept through the alrarm twice. The condo was so well equipped. Our only regret is that we did not have time to use the bikes. We wish all VRBO rentals were as nice as this! We recommend this home to anyone coming to Denver." Texas Travelers

My wife and I stayed here in early September for two nights and only wish it could have been two weeks. This recently renovated property has beautiful hardwood floors throughout, a state of the art kitchen and an outstandingly comfortable king sized bed. We were a little slow on the uptake and did not discover until the second night that the light switches in the living room and kitchen had small adjacent dimmer switches so be sure to look for them. The conversion of large older homes to condos is still going on in the area where the condo is located and some homes in the area need to be painted and cleaned up so it is a neighborhood in transition. There is a pre-school a couple of blocks down the street. This unit is managed and cleaned by the Gregory Inn staff. Stephen, the manager, came over for an orientation after we had moved in and made sure to give us his cell phone in case we needed anything. We would not hesitate to recommend this condo to friends and family and hope to stay here again in the near future.

Aug 3- Sept 3 Alll the wonderful things said about the condo are true - accomodations, location, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed touring downtown Denver via bicycle (wonderful bikes with the condo!), walking, and the train/RTD. Snooze (restaurant) is a must for breakfast. Note to get there early to avoid a long wait. We also had a delightful breakfast at the Gregory Inn, the bed and breakfast managed by Stephen. Thanks, Hubbard and Kathy Texas
Owner response:Thanks Hubbard - glad you guys had a great time!

This was an awesome condo located close to so much in Downtown Denver. The condo was well maintained and it provided a very cozy "home away from home" atmosphere. Many great restaurants were within walking distance. This was a very charming place, and I would definitely want to stay there in the future if I return to Denver.

The condo was beautiful, close to downtown, very clean and easy to check in and out of. Everything you needed was provided and the property was in a great area. The deck out back was especially nice on summer nights and the price was fantastic for such a nice, clean and convenient property. Can't say enough good things about it.

We stayed here for ten nights in January while while working at the Sportsmen's and Denver Boat shows. The proximity to downtown was more than convenient and the advantage of having a "home" versus a hotel room enab led us to relax when we were not at the shows. The old world charm set in an urban setting was a perfect mix for us. We found this place to have everything we needed to feel like we were at home. The kitchen was stocked well with all necessary items to create several great meals. The fireplace was wonderful! We loved the ability to have the warmth and ambiance that it provided with a click of the remote. We did not have a chance to use the bikes - too much snow - but they looked like they would have been a real plus for getting out and about. We would definitely stay agaiin if the opportunity arises.
Owner response:Esther - thanks for your excellent review - glad that you had a good stay - come visit again when the grass is green and the weather is good for biking.

I was pleasantly surprised with how quaint and peaceful this little townhome was. The property is fairly close to downtown, although it takes a cab to really get into the area (no more than $10). The bed was really comfy and the ceiling fans are a plus. The extra locks on each door helped make me feel extra secure, as a solo traveler. And the little notebook they provide with information about the area is extremely helpful. I had 2 different people visit me during my stay and they were each impressed with the place. I would definitely stay at this property again in the future.

My husband & I enjoyed your condo for our 30th anniversary April 18, 2010. Loved the Open Doors to Denver that weekend. Ate at Buck Horns and walked around Denver. Thanks for letting us enjoy the comforts of home at your condo. Please feel welcome to come to Branson, MO VRBO 27126. David & Ermajean

What a wonderful place! The perfect accomodation for us as it is close to alll the things we love about Denver. It also provided the peace and quiet we were looking for on our get away form the regular hustle and bustle of life.Looking forward to staying again during baseball season! Thanks for sharing your place with us -- it is a treasure. The book you put together for your guests is very helpful. Two places we found you might want to try- --BD's Mongolian Grill --Tom's Diner on Colfax (great for that late night-early morning breakfast)

Wonderful Home away from Home. We were here with our two daughters under the age of two. It was good to have room for them to stretch out and a kitchen to prepare meals & snacks. We went to the zoo and it was perfect to come home and warm up by the fire :-) We sure do hope to stay again when we want to have more adventures in Denver. Kristi, Jens , Vivian, and Freesia"

Your place was exactly what we were looking for. Close to the Convention Center, as we were exhibiting at the Sportsmans Show, Restaurants, taverns, etc. But much more comfortable and clean than the hotels we generally stay in! Also really appreciated the wonderful "Art" work. Art has a knack for photography. Nice to see how private rentals work in other parts of the country as we have a similar business in NE Minnesota next to the Boundary Waters Wilderness. elylodging . com Wonderful place. Pat Ely, MN

"Sept 4, 2009 On the last leg of a 3 week trip: Sarasota,Fl, Santa Fe, NM and a road trip up through Colorado (eating our way through would be more appropriate!) before heading back to Portinao, Algrave-Portugal! This apartment was a great place to spreadout and relax after all this travelling. We have loved every bit of our week in Colorado and Denver/Curtis 2606 was a highlight. September '09 - My boyfriend and I loved our weeklong stay at this wonderful home, we kept saying to each other "What a gem of a find this place is"! We were very impressed! It was more comfortable than a hotel, like having our own little vacation home with no maid knocking on the door saying "cleaning woman". We'll remember it forever. Thanks, Clair and Patrick

From owner's guest book - Wow, What a great place to stay in a great city. Just right. Comfy bed, all the amenities need, lots of books, and very clean. Couldn't ask for more. The deck was wonderful; private and just the right amount of sunshine/shade. Would stay again and recommend to others.

We rented the condo for a total of three months. It was ideal for our needs. It is extremely comfortable and met all of our needs. It was extremely convenient to downtown, grocery stores, shopping and parks. I used the bikes and went along several of the trails. I would highly recommend the unit whether you needed overnight or long-term lodging.

We really enjoyed our stay in the condo. It had everything we needed and then some. Nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. Convenient routes and access to the downtown area both by car or light rail three blocks away. We would stay at this condo again.

A beautifully decorated condo with great amenities, including wifi and two bikes. We enjoyed riding the bikes (on trails for the most part) to the REI Starbucks where there is a lovely patio overlooking the Platte river. Also walked over to Coor’s field for a ball game. The Tattered Cover in LoDo is a must for book lovers. Curtis Park is a neighborhood that has for the most part been brought back from hard times. In addition to new development, a number of the historic old homes have not only escaped the wrecking ball but have been restored to their original grandeur.

What a beautiful condo! This authentic rowhouse has been beautifully and authentically rehabbed from the hardware floors to the beautiful crown molding. The kitchen is fully equipped with granite countertops and top of the line appliances. The furnishings are tasteful, comfortable and immaculate with a leather sofa and chair and a superb king size bed. The decorating is beautiful. The owner is a fantastic photographer, and it was a joy to get the chance to view his exquisite photos throughout the house. There is a deck that is lit for twilight dinners prepared on a top of the line grill. The owners also provide bikes, which we did not have the opportunity to use unfortunately, and air conditioning for summer visits such as ours (102 for three straight days!). This is a great Denver "home away from home."

From the moment you walk in, you get the feeling of 'home'. The condo was decorated beautifully, the furniture was large and comfortable and the best part was it was immaculate! We enjoyed every ounce this property had to offer from sipping coffie on our private deck to writing in our travel journal on the soft leather sofa. Everything was that of 5 star accomodations in an excellent location! Try it!
