Our newly remodeled and furnished home has everything to offer within a short 5-8 minute walk to the beach. It is perfect for families, friends, reunions or golf/tennis groups. One of the best features is the outdoor area. Beginning with a wonderful deck, perfect for sitting and relaxing or grilling up some dinner with family or friends. Our new large pool/spa includes 2 waterfalls and variable colored lighting that will create a fun light show. Enjoy the heated pool (upon request) and spa or walk down to the lake and enjoy sitting on our private dock. You can read, fish or just watch the turtles play.

With an open floor plan, our home features a great room with a 42” HDTV/DVD and a fantastic view of the pool, spa and lake. The great room is furnished with antiques and comfortable furniture to help you relax while at the beach. For the chefs in the family, we have a gourmet kitchen with a great view of the water and easy access to the large deck. Our dining table seats 8 – 10 plus 4 additional seats at the bar. Our entire house features hardwood floors and an advanced lighting system. Three of our 4 bedrooms have king beds with double sinks in the bathrooms. These bedrooms face the lake with a wonderful sunrise view. The 4th bedroom has a private bath and queen size bed.

Our Hi-tech home has wireless internet to keep you in touch. If you just want to get away, come in and relax in our ground floor great room with its lovely view of the lake and pool and HDTV. You can also enjoy yourself upstairs in the media/game room. Play bumper pool or cards while you watch a movie on the 42” Plasma TV & DVD player with surround sound. Kids of all ages can enjoy playing X-box. Our home has “built in” speakers throughout the house and on the deck. Bring your own CD’s or enjoy our collection of music while relaxing by the pool or whipping up dinner in the kitchen. If you need quiet time, we have puzzles, games and a small library for your enjoyment.

Our gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances including a 5-burner stovetop, double oven, 2 sinks, and microwave. We hope that you will enjoy cooking up meals with our upgraded pans and full complement of cooking accessories. Whether in the kitchen or outside on the grill, you will have what you need to make a great meal. We have a full set of indoor and outdoor dishes/glassware for your enjoyment. For the wine drinkers, use our wine cooler to keep your beverages at the perfect temperature or cool them down with our portable wine chiller. Our kitchen is equipped with everything from a casserole dish to a smoothie maker. We hope you enjoy!

Our home is located in the lovely community of Palmetto Dunes in Hilton Head, SC. There are 3 award-winning golf courses in Palmetto Dunes as well as numerous other courses within a short drive. First class tennis instruction and indoor/outdoor court are also a short walk way. A free 'on-demand' shuttle is available to transport your throughout the community. We have miles of beautiful beaches for your enjoyment. Hilton Head also offers outlet shopping, theater, mini-golf, deep-sea fishing, dolphin watching and much more.   • We stayed in this house the week of July 25-August 1, 2009. We have been vacationing in Hilton Head for the past 6 years, and while we have always stayed in beautiful homes, this is by far our favorite. The house itself was clean and very well maintained. It is obvious that the owners love and take much pride in their home. The view from the back of the house is amazing. The pool and grounds were just lovely. We loved being on the lake and watching and feeding the turtles. We also liked that it is only a 3 minute bike ride to the beach. We also found a quick way out to 278 on bike. This home is one that we would love to rent again. We recommend it highly.

  • 6/29/09 - We just got back from HHI and this wonderful house...We didn't want to leave. Wow. Everything is top notch in the house. The upstairs was perfect for the teenagers...they had their own space. What fun swimming in the large pool and hot tub, especially at night. The turtles were a blast to feed. We'll be back for sure.

  • Our family stayed at the Turtle Beach House during the first week in June, 2009. We had a super time! The house was sparkling clean, beautifully and comfortably decorated and so relaxing. The kitchen is first rate. We shared the cooking and envy those counter tops! The view of the lake is restful any time of day or night. The grandchildren(under age 2) loved feeding and watching the turtles and tiny fish from the dock. We enjoyed the pool and the close proximity to the ocean. No one wanted to go home. Hope we can visit again next year.

  • we rented the house for 2 weeks. it was exactly like the write up and pictures claimed. the house is lovely, clean, updated, the kitchen has everything you could ever need. a chefs dream. my only issue is the pool guy comes 1st to clean then the landscapers. they blow all the leaves back into the pool. other than that, my grandchildren had a blast with feeding the turtles each day and the pool is wonderful. we all had a wonderful time. the whole experience was one i can't wait to do again and again. thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

  • Our family stayed at this property in April 09 and had a great time. The house is newly remodeled and beautiful with every conceivable kitchen convenience. It is tastefully decorated and includes everything a family would need for a great beach vacation. The neighborhood is quiet and just a short walk to the beach. Very positive experience!
