Whispering Pines Cabin was built in 1933, and has been very well maintained over the years. You will enjoy a very comfortable, clean, and nice place to stay. The cabin offers 2 bedrooms with queen beds, full kitchen, bathroom & living room. Surround sound is available for the TV and Stereo--or perhaps you prefer to select a book from the bookcase to sit and read.
The cabin sits on 2 1/2 City corner lots with a 6' foot cedar fence for privacy and a secure place for your pet to play. In the backyard you can enjoy the herb garden for your cooking needs, along with flowers, cherry, walnut and pine trees. You will have a view of Columbia Mountain and a peek into Glacier Park.
Just blocks away from the Cabin, you will find several City Parks, walking paths, the City Pool, Antique shops, and the Flathead River. Montana Coffee Traders Cafe is just 2 doors North, and Downtown Columbia Falls is just 2 blocks away.
Conveniently located, Whitefish is just a 15 minute drive, 10 minutes to Glacier International Airport, 20 minutes to Kalispell, 40 minutes to Bigfork and Flathead Lake and just 20 minutes from Glacier Park. You can stop at the Big Sky Waterslides, Great Bear Adventure, the Maze, House of Mystery or the Hungry Horse Dam on your way to the Park. Just 8 minutes away, you can be at the Columbia Mountain trail head for a 6 mile hike to the top.
Thursdays in the summer months, you can walk up town in the afternoon to enjoy the Farmer's Market. In the evening, Marantette park is a short walk away and offers live music from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It’s very well kept, conveniently situated, and has a very spacious backyard for pets, BBQs, lounging, and general enjoyment. Several lovely eating establishments, shops, and even a unique bookstore are within walking distance — and the majesty of Glacier National Park can’t be underestimated!
