  We were in Plymouth for a family wedding and needed a large house for the week before the wedding. It met and exceeded all of our expectations. It was beautifully decorated and kitchen very well appointed with all the amenities of home. The back deck with awning, overlooking the lovely gardens below was a special treat, where we spent a lot of time and enjoyed eating outdoors. The location of this home was very close to plymouth center so an easy walk to the shops, restaurants and waterfront. The owners were delightful and so helpful with local referrals of all kind. All of those referrals were perfect from restaurants to salons. The special touches with fresh flowers in the rooms made it feel even more like home. We can't say enough about this home, also a Bed & Breakfast. Thank you Kathy and Dennis for such hospitality and for sharing your beautiful home with us.

  I recently stayed at the Jesse Harlow house with two other colleagues for six weeks and could not have been more pleased. As a frequent traveler, being able to feel at home when away from home was very refreshing. The owners, Kathy and Dennis, are some of the most accommodating and pleasant people I have ever come across and really made us all feel like family from the moment we walked in the door. The house itself is very welcoming also. It has been updated with new appliances and electronics while still keeping true to its heritage which is evident throughout the house. The house is within walking distance to everything downtown Plymouth has to offer, and Kathy or Dennis can always point you in the direction of interesting local attractions or fine dining, both of which are not in short supply in Plymouth. Don't hesitate, book it!

  The Jessie Harlow house was everything we hoped for and more.Kathy and Dennis were perfect hosts. The house was clean and very comfortable, We arrived late evening and Kathy was the perfect host showing us around the house and making us welcome. We enjoyed a wonderful ten days in the house enjoying the freedom of the rental. The rooms were furnished in beautiful antique furniture and very clean and comfortable. Outside the inviting veranda was a wonderful place to sit and relax leading down to a perfect enclosed paved garden area complete with a trickling koi carp pond.Kathy and Dennis couldn't have been more helpful doing everything to help us enjoy our holiday. We enjoyed socializing with them a couple of evenings and enjoyed learning more about their home . My husband and friend played golf at a local golf course and said everyone made them very welcome there.We found the people of Plymouth very friendly. We visited Boston twice on the train and had a marvelous time there. Also we went whale watching and were lucky to be surrounded by no less than fourteen whales at one point, it was a brilliant day. I would recommend The Jesse Harlow house to my friends and family to visit without a doubt. Thank You Kathy and Dennis for making our visit to your beautiful house so perfect x

  We really enjoyed our stay at your beautiful house, it was perfect for 8 people, we loved the kitchen, where we spent most of our time at the house. It is in a great location to explore both the Cape and Boston, and we even got to see a Red Sox game. It was a lot of fun walking around Plymouth, and the people were very nice, we appreciated your help on things to do and places to go in the area, and the sea food was great. The house was very nice, there is lots of room for everyone to do there oun thing, we enjoyed eating and coffee, and other beverages on the back deck. The bed rooms are very nice. Your house exceded our expectations. If we make it back to Ma. we will try to stay here again, and would recommend it very highly to freinds.

  I booked the Jessie Harlow House for a reunion week wherein I visited family and friends from the past and made some new friends. The house was so spacious and immaculate and so handy to everything. The car was not needed the whole week. We just walked everywhere - and it is in a terrific location, just steps from the waterfront and all that activity and new boutique restaurants and shops and so much activity going on. I especially loved the spacious covered porch overlooking the koi pond, so relaxing and comfortable - had friends for lunch and took naps and read and just generally relaxed. Kathy and Dennis were so friendly and helpful and not intrusive at all, enjoyed talking to them each day. I enjoyed it so much that I am returning in mid October for another social event - can't wait to tell you the truth.

  The only thing that might equal the charm and comfort of the Jesse Harlow house would be the warmth and hospitality of its owners, Kathy and Dennis. My family and I rented the whole house for a week recently and thoroughly enjoyed every moment we spent there whether it was sitting on the covered porch that overlooks the beautiful garden below, sleeping in our wonderfully decorated rooms (and comfortable beds) or finding charming touches such as fresh flowers in every room. The kitchen was very well equipped and a delight to work in. As hosts, Kathy and Dennis were warm and welcoming. Initially, I thought it might be awkward having them live on the third floor of the property, but it wasn't at all. They made it clear that they would not be inruding on us but would be there if we needed anything, and it worked out well. We enjoyed talking with them and welcomed their presence during the week. They helped us find great places to eat (East Bay Grille....wonderful food and atmosphere), suggested places of interest in the area and were able to answer questions or point us in the direction of others who could if they didn't know the answer. By the end of the week, I felt that we were leaving friends behind in Plymouth. The location of the house is wonderful. We took walks each day and could walk from the house down to the waterfront, walk the length of the waterfront and back up through town. There is a park nearby that is a wonderful oasis of flowers and a rushing stream that we particularly enjoyed walking through. We took a whale watching trip with Captain John's boats (located in the Plymouth Harbor near the Mayflower II) and were delighted with all the whales we got to see up close. We visited nearby Plimouth Plantation and would recommend that if you don't have anyone in your group who has limited walking ability. In short, I would highly recommend a stay at the Jesse Harlow House. It's a beautiful house, has wonderful owners, a great location and was a major part of our very memorable trip to the Plymouth/Boston/Cape Cod area.

  We -a family of 7- spent 9 wonderful days at this beautiful house. Everything was perfect: the house had everything we needed to feel at home: beautiful, clean rooms, lots of room for everyone, wonderful garden and the nicest and most helpful hosts anyone could think of! Thank you, Kathy and Dennis, for the wonderful time we spent at your house!
