Why the Owner Chose Kekaha
More Sun and warmth. Less rain and humidity. We want to retire here someday. Quiet and more old world Hawaii.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Favorate thing to do is just walk out the front door across the street to the beach and cop a spot under palm trees slightly to the left and watch the ocean and sunsets. Love to sit out on the Lanai and read. I like to cook fresh Tuna among other things and that's why I have such an equipped kitchen. We have done most of the excursions and just like to relax at home mostly. But my favorite excursion is taking a catamaran up the Napi Coast.

Great place to explore Kauai and lots of things to do! Alaka'i swamp is worth it. Nu'alolo trail has awesome views. We went scuba diving off Hanapepe and saw tons of turtles swimming and shooting in and our of little nooks and crannies. A real Highlight! The kalalau trail on the North side was crowded and muddy but had great views of the ocean. Baking soda works great cleaning the stove top.

A beautiful house in a beautiful spot with a wonderful porch and view. We particularly enjoyed all the new appliances and equipment. Hale Manu was a big part of our delightful 2 week visit.
Positive Rating
We felt the island decor of the house was perfect. The place is well equipped with everything that we needed including the gas grill which we used a lot in the evening along with varying sunsets. We were very pleased with the sunning and relatively quiet West side of the island. Just what we were hoping for.We have driven virtually every paved road on this beautiful island at least twice and many unpaved roads. We discovered many interesting beaches, scenic vistas & dead ends. Hope to be back again!

Thank you for providing such a wonderful "home" for us during our vacation. We loved the furnishings, the photos (we took some of the same ones!), the basic necessities. It feels like home here! Thanks for everything.

We had a wonderful experience here, like most everyone did. Thank you for thinking of everything regarding cake pans, muffin cups & spices etc. It really made us feel at home. The ocean breezes were awsome. Overall, amazing island, outstanding house and great experience! Thank you for making our trip to Kauai a memorable one and we would stay with you again in a heatbeat.

Our fist step into the house was a glimpse at what our whole trip would be... WONDERFUL!! Thank you so much for making our trip amazing from the beginning. Our family enjoyed ever moment and we're sad to be going, but we plan on coming back.

We enjoyed so many things here near Kekaha! This lovely home, bike rides in the neighborhood, Jojo's shaved ice, coconut prawns at the Shrimp Station, steak at the Wranglers. The area kept us busy all the way from Barking Sands beach to Pohile Park and incredible hikes in Kokee'. We ate breakfast at the lodge and had a crystal clear day. We toured the Hawaiian Tropical Gardens and then went past hotels on Poipu Rd thru 3 sugar cane roads to the most incredible sand and scenery we have ever seen. (In the Ultimate Guide book) past Shipwreck beach. The roosters were no problem for us because we have them at home. We loved watching the children play at school. Thank you sooo much. Hope we can come back soon.

It was such a pleasant surprise to walk into this lovingly & beautifully decorated cottage. Thank you for the consideration to all the details. We came from a beautiful island ourselves and couldn't imagine a place more beautiful. I think you have us beat. What a paradise! Thank you for making our first trip to the tropics a very special one.
