Aloha Scott, The house was simply excellent. Everything worked, very nice design, almost too good and well equipped for only 2.5 persons! Perfect for 4-6 persons: Spacious enough, 3 good bedrooms, lots of utensils etc. I did grilling every day. Very good set-up, and will be recommending the house for other families also. Mahalo, Petri

We had a great time in Kauai! This was our 5th time in 5 years but our 1st time at your home, Hale Manu. Great home! Thank you for sharing. Hope to be back next year! Not a drop of rain during our 14 day stay!

We thoroghly enjoyed staying at your lovely home in Kekaha. We come every year to visit our good friends in Waimea and the location of your home was perfect. Thank you so much for making your home so comfortable. Your home is very taken care of and no small detail is overlooked. We loved walking across the street to watch the sunsets every night from Kekaha beach.... Just Beautiful!!! We were also lucky enought to come a the time the waves on the West side were mild. We went to Polihale 3 times. We will miss Kauai and will definately call you when we return in the future.

Thank you so much! Our stay was soooo Great! We loved the house it was so great especially that you had all the little things like, laundry detergent, sugar, mayo, mustard etc. It made it a lot easier not to have to buy all those things and cheaper too. Mahalo! Your hale is absolutely delightful. We spent hours sitting on the front porch and walking on the local beach. The interior decorations and personal touches made our stay feel like home. We loved the quality, the energy and the obvious love that has gone into this place. We enjoyed ourselves immensely!

Thank you for sharing your wonderful home. We thoroughly enjoyed hour stay even with the rooster wake up calls. Hike Waimea Canyon trail and try the look outs @ Pihra trail but watch out for the mud. Great views of Napali from above. Go on a snorkling cruise to see Napali Coast from below. We got to see Kekaha's Fourth of July fireworks from the front porch!

Loved the house and the location. You thought of everything to make guests comfortable. The neighborhood was so quiet and we enjoyed walking in the evening and watching the sunsets. We found the local people very friendly and the roosters did not bother us. Waimea Canyon was spectacular!

It was nice to come back here again, just like coming home. This time we were able to take the boat trip to the Napali Coast. I was fantastic, so we did it again 2 weeks later. Each time we saw whales, spinner dolphins & sea turtles. During the second boat tour, the whales put on quite a show, jumping completely our of the water. We also traveled new roads to secluded beaches that were breath taking. Thank you for letting us enjoy your home.

Great place to explore Kauai and lots of things to do! Alaka'i swamp is worth it. Nu'alolo trail has awesome views. We went scuba diving off Hanapepe and saw tons of turtles swimming and shooting in and our of little nooks and crannies. A real Highlight! The kalalau trail on the North side was crowded and muddy but had great views of the ocean. Baking soda works great cleaning the stove top.

A beautiful house in a beautiful spot with a wonderful porch and view. We particularly enjoyed all the new appliances and equipment. Hale Manu was a big part of our delightful 2 week visit.

We felt the island decor of the house was perfect. The place is well equipped with everything that we needed including the gas grill which we used a lot in the evening along with varying sunsets. We were very pleased with the sunning and relatively quiet West side of the island. Just what we were hoping for.We have driven virtually every paved road on this beautiful island at least twice and many unpaved roads. We discovered many interesting beaches, scenic vistas & dead ends. Hope to be back again!

We enjoyed so many things here near Kekaha! This lovely home, bike rides in the neighborhood, Jojo's shaved ice, coconut prawns at the Shrimp Station, steak at the Wranglers. The area kept us busy all the way from Barking Sands beach to Pohile Park and incredible hikes in Kokee'. We ate breakfast at the lodge and had a crystal clear day. We toured the Hawaiian Tropical Gardens and then went past hotels on Poipu Rd thru 3 sugar cane roads to the most incredible sand and scenery we have ever seen. (In the Ultimate Guide book) past Shipwreck beach. The roosters were no problem for us because we have them at home. We loved watching the children play at school. Thank you sooo much. Hope we can come back soon.
