Looking for a beautiful & peaceful getaway? Our home, 'Whispering Oaks Retreat' provides serenity & grandeur indoors & out! Newly refurbished 2 story 5,200 sq ft log home with huge vaulted beamed areas, located on private 17 acres (access to additional 40), 5+ bedrooms & 3 baths & has a large entertainment room all in a grand scale for your comfort! Sleeps 15 with comfortable pillow top beds. Large fully stocked kitchen & dining areas with additional seating on outdoor deck.
We are located just south of Rochester, in an area surrounded by valleys & rivers. Nearby quaint towns & scenery are abundant. Great area for the outdoor enthusiasts with the nearby Root River bike trails & rivers for canoeing, fishing & tubing. Private surrounding acreage provides wildlife & bird watching. Indoors, we are set-up for crafting, scrapbooking, etc with premium craft tables.

Just got back from a girls weekend away and was so impressed with this cabin. Remote, situated at the end of a long driveway in the woods, surrounded by picturesque country and farms. Perfect for a group- we only had 11 and there was room for many more. Clean and well maintained with just about everything you could need. As advertised and a great value for the price. Owners are very easy to work with and helpful. I would only ask for 2 things: 1. More comfortable pillows- they are thick and lumpy so bring your own even if you're not that picky. 2. An ipod dock- we couldn't figure out how to plug in with an aux cord so bring CDs. Will definitely return. Weekly rentals TH-TH (May be able to accommodate some change)$3425/we Weekend(& Holiday) rentals (2 night minimum) (Fri-Sat)=$800/night Weekday rentals (Add or 2 night minimum) =$425/night (Holiday is $800/night) *Call for Corporate rates or more than 7 days $300 reservation & damages fee hold required. $150 Cleaning fee added to rates. Note: Excess Fee of $150 will be charged if over 15 persons are staying weekend (10 persons for weekday/holiday stay) & added to your balance total. Payment due in full 90 days before rental. Rental Agreement provided.
