everything we hoped for ... well supplied with paper products, towels, and kitchen utensils.. Spent 5 nights there and had a wonderful time with a wonderful friend . Was very close to the beach and shops on the main strip.. would love to come back someday and enjoy again.. Thank you for sharing your wonderful beach cottage..

Property met all our expectations and was clean and comfortable at a reasonable price. Beach access close and enjoyed watching the sunset each day. Comfortable bed and plenty of paper products and shower supplies.

Ups: - Perfect for the value! Purchased 2 nights with 3rd night for free special they had for May 2011. - My family enjoyed our little getaway in this nice home; small but cozy. - My two boys shared the futon and that was big enough for them although I don't think it's comfy enough for my two boys but didn't hear any complains from them! - Great location! Just steps away from the beach! - Great ocean view from the deck and love hearing the ocean waves from the house! - Full bed was surprisingly comfy. - Enough kitchen tools to cook a lot so we did! Downs: - No wine glasses available in the house so we just drove to the dollar store and picked up one there. (this should be a MUST); they did have a wine opener. :) - No local directory or info about what to do in Lincoln City - would be helpful especially for non-gamblers or it's too cold to hang out at the beach. - No WIFI or Cable connection (but was kinda glad because I would have been working if I was able to connect. - Pillows are not comfy on your neck. - Shower very small. OVERALL, IT WAS NICE FOR THE VALUE WE GOT! LARGE ENOUGH FOR MY FAMILY OF 4!

The Harbor is a wonderful cottage. I would not hesitate to rent this cottage again. Beach access could not be much better. The wife and I were there for a week in March with our college age daughter. It is small but cozy, but I never felt it was too small. The kitchen was well stocked for all of our cooking needs. Beds were very comfortable. Past reviews commented about the size of the shower being that it is one that you would find in a trailer. It was a standard size shower and more than adequate. As mentioned in previous reviews, the water handle delivers hot and cold water backwards. You get use to it soon. That is something easily fixed. I would have fixed it but I did not want to break the plastic cover on the handle with the lack of proper tools. The listing was accurately described. You always envision things bigger. If you are looking for room to spread out in, this cottage will not work for you. As I mentioned above, this was perfectly sized for our needs. Photos were good, but again you always envision things being bigger. The property was well maintained and was clean. The process to rent it was very easy. I would recommend this to anyone who desires a small cottage. I would go back in a heart beat. This is perfect for a couple or even our case with a college age daughter. This location is perfect location for getting to the beach. Within a couple of minutes you are there. There are tide pools right there at low tide. There is plenty of sandy beach. My only complaint is that there is not much beach or area between high tide and the steep slopes during high tides, but that is the case for a lot ot the beaches in Lincoln City. You have the beach at your finger tips. I ended up walking all 7.5 miles of beach over the week looking for glass floats. They were elusive and we did not find any, but sure enjoyed the search. Was a great excuse to get out and get some exercise. The weather was very workable. Everyone was asking why are you going to the Oregon coast in the winter? It rains all the time. We had your periods of rain but also have perods of no rain. I was able to walk the beach every day but one and if I wanted to get wet, I could have walked that day too. One restaurant that everyone need to check out would be Mo's and get their Clam Chowder in the Sour Dough Bread Bowl. That is hard to find in South Dakota. I do not know when we will return but this cottage will be on our list if it is available.

Comfortable, great location

The good: Right next to the beach. Full sized, well equiped (except the ruined non-stick skillet) kitchen. No measuring cups or spoons, though - I almost picked some up at the dollar store. Very nice that it's a gas stove, so if the power were out you could still cook food. Wall heater in each room, so you can keep the doors closed and keep the light out. Plenty of towels and paper items. Nice deck, too bad we were there in winter. Ample space for two cars. Free wi-fi from the hotel across the street. The door between the living room and bedroom is very sound-blocking, so was nice to put our son to bed and then be able to watch tv for a bit. The not-so good: TINY shower-we knew this going in thanks to earlier review, so were prepared. It does have a pretty nice shower head, though. Oh, and hot means cold and cold means hot. Very "slouchy" couch. Just give in and lay down and take a nap! The bed has a bit of a slope toward the center. Upon looking underneath, I saw why - no center support. Despite this, it was still fairly comfy. If you open the futon, pull it away from the wall first! Otherwise, it scrapes against the wall (and you can see the dents where it has happened before). The dresser is full of extra sheets, so no where to unpack - we used the futon. Overall: Not luxury accomodations, but very serviceable and a great value. There are numerous small maintenance items that need attention, but maybe the new owners will take care of that (it's currently for sale). We would stay there again, but would try sleeping on the futon. And don't let your husband take the key when he goes up to the woods. The rental agency doesn't have an extra key!! Luckily the realty office did.

Cozy Weekend Retreat

My wife and I have stayed here a few different times and it's a perfect cozy little place for the two of us. A nice, short walk down to the beach and not far away from all the fun downtown shops in Lincoln City.

We loved staying here. It was so cozy and close to the beach. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Much better than going to a motel. We will definately stay here again.

The location was great ---- however, there is no picture of the shower for a reason. It was about the size of one in a camper, very small. We expected a normal sized shower. Cable TV was absolutely basic, no extras. Lvg. rm sofa very uncomfortable. On the plus side, it was very well stocked with necessary supplies, t.paper, p. towels, napkins, etc.(usually for a stay of a week you have to supply your own). It was very clean and generally quiet. We enjoyed the deck. First time in Lincoln City. Enjoyed the local seafood and some good restaurants-- Blackfish Cafe and Pier 101. Would definitely return to Lincoln City but would find a place more comfortable for us.
