  Die Beschreibung in VRBO entspricht vollkommen der Realität. Es ist alles sehr sauber, ordentlich und bietet einen sehr hohen Komfort. Das Appartement liegt in einer sehr schönen, ruhigen und sicheren Gegend von San Francisco und man ist trotzdem nicht zu weit außerhalb vom zentralen Geschehen der Stadt. Wir bewohnten das Appartement mit 5 Personen und fühlten uns in keinster Weise beengt, es ist sehr geräumig und lässt durch die beiden Bäder, sowie die gut ausgestattete Küche keine Wünsche offen. Die Abwicklung der Formalitäten erfolgte absolut reibungslos und Clyde selbst war bei Fragen und eventuellen Problemen immer für uns erreichbar. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen, damit waren wir nicht an die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der näheren Umgebung gebunden, aber auch diese waren vorhanden, also auch ohne Auto ist man schnell mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Vielen vielen Dank Clyde, wir werden allen Bekannten und Freunden, die eine Reise nach San Francisco planen, Dein Appartement sehr gerne weiterempfehlen oder auch selbst wieder kommen. For everybody else, who doesn´t speak German: The description is definitively accurate regarding the location. It is a clean and neat place to stay with a lot of comfort that you wouldn´t get in a hotel. The apartement is located in a beautiful area of San Francisco, which is quiet, safe and still not far away from all the sightseeing places you have to go to. We were renting the apartement for 5 people and it had more than enough room for all of us. The two bathrooms and the well-appointed kitchen left nothing to be desired. The owner Clyde was there for us and helped whenever there was a question or potential problem. All the formalities were handled quickly and easily. We had a rental car, so we were able to go to bigger grocery stores, but there are some smaler ones very close to the apartement, where you can get all you need. Thanks to you Clyde, we had a great time and we will recommend the property to all our friends and relatives who want to visit San Francisco. And for sure we will stay at your apartement again if we have the chance to visit that beautiful city again. Greetings Steffi with family and friends

  Perfect for our family- the only downfall is that it is was too far to walk to the Wharf. Trust me- we did it one day and were exhausted!! Otherwise, a quiet, clean flat with all amenties you could possibly need. We will definately stay again upon return to SF

  The apartment is like you look it in VRBO . It' s very well maintained and clean. The neighborhood is really nice, easy to go everywhere by public transport and we really enjoy our visit to SF. Some inconvinients : If you don't have a USA celular phone, like us , you'll have a problem because there is no telephone in the flat, and everybody ask you for a local telephone number. ( you can't ask for a cab for instance) If you have a late flight your luggage will be a nightmare because you can't leave it one minute after 11.00 am, even if you arrived also late and you didn't use the apt. the first day. The post and parcel is open until 3.00 on Saturday and is closed on Sunday. The WI FI signal is weak, but if you don't need these things, you will be really satisfied . The city is wonderful and safe. The owner give you a complete list of what you can find near, transports etc.

  Owner response: It's unfortunate you experienced these frustrations unnecessarily. Had you contacted me at any point in your stay, I would have been able to suggest reasonable solutions. I'm glad you found the flat as you expected it to be, the neighborhood and access to public transit worked well for you and the information we provided was useful. Future guests please note that foreign cell phones in many instances do not work in the USA. If you have a concern, then consider buying a disposable cell phone in SF at Radio Shack or Best Buy and choose either a 415 or 510 area code when the store clerk sets up the phone for you. Choose a calling plan with national calling if you intend to travel outside the SF area. Also remember that foreign credit cards generally must be pre-authorized by the issuing bank for use in the USA. Best to do this before departure.

  This was a very nice flat located in a quiet section of Pacific Heights. Pro's are the clean and well-maintained accommodations, Clyde's most excellent customer service, and detailed instructions. Depending on the visitor, the location may be a plus (nice and quiet location that is a few blocks away from gorgeous Pac Hts views; two blocks from the quaint Alta Plaza park) or a minus (3 blocks minimum to get to any stores; big hills to climb/descend to get to Union Street). The photos accurately portray what you get in this property. A ten minute walk gets you to Fillmore street in lower Pac Hts which has a great many restaurants, pubs and some shopping.and a short bus ride away is Cow Hollow with its many shoppes and restaurants. I'd recommend this flat, which is a great value, to families or a group of friends staying in San Fran. It's in a very nice location, with feasible parking, and access to mass transit. Thanks Clyde.

  Two colleagues and I were to attend a conference in San Francisco. We decided that renting a flat where we could meet, before and after the conference to compare notes and plan for the next day, would be a good idea. So we chose to rent this flat. We were absolutely delighted at the layout, the cleanliness and the neighborhood. The bedrooms were excellent and the facilities clean and serviceable. We will be sure to stay there again next year

  Great location - great accommodations! Seven women, ranging from 76 to 17 were extremely comfortable in this wonderful Pacific Heights Flat. The interiors were beautiful - each of us could have moved in! The entry access directions provided and overview of public transportation and parking challenges were very clear. Grab a bus map and jump on - easy and very affordable means of transportation. Beds were comfortable, with a very luxurious master bedroom and bath - felt like royalty. Plenty of space for all seven - never on top of each other. Kitchen was well-equipped. We were blessed with perfect weather and walked, walked and walked even more throughout our long weekend. Tartine Bakery in Castro/Mission District is a must. Prepare for a 15-20 minute wait, but it is totally worth it! If you like Italian, check out the local delis in North Beach, grab some goodies and enjoy a lovely picnic at sunset in Sausalito or on the lawns of the Palace of Fine Arts near the Marina. We would recommend this choice for anyone's stay in San Francisco whether just two of you or more. We'd definitely stay here again. :-)

  My family of five was very comfortable in this rental, and all the logistics were easy. Beautiful location too. Easy walk to Alta Plaza Park, Lyon Street Steps, Presidio, and great shops and cafes on Fillmore.

  We had a family wedding in Pacific Heights area. I chose this condo because of its walking distance to the wedding site. Also it fit our needs. We had five adults and wanted to stay in S.F. for a week. We needed a place with easy access to public transportation. The condo was the same as pictured and described. The five of us stayed and slept comfortably there. We had many quick meals in the cozy kitchen area. As stated in one prior review, the only minor thing was that a couple of nights we could hear people walking back and forth on the second floor. It's a plus to have the washing and dryer machines. We did not want to go out to a laundry mart. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. Bus #1 and bus #3 are a couple of blocks away. They'll take you to downtown and other places. Some streets are hilly. But we love to walk so it was not a problem for us. Clyde was very professional and helpful to deal with. Days before we moved it, he sent us neighborhood information about grocery stores, parks, buses, shopping, restaurants and pharmacies. We had dinner at Chinatown 3 nights. We bought food at 3 of the grocery stores he recommended. We got CityPASS so we went to all the attractions it offered. There are also many Grayline bus tours. We took an all-day tour to Monterey and Carmel. We took super shuttle from/to the airport. Bottom line is the condo was a great choice for us. I would recommend it to anyone who's going to be in S.F. for more than 3 nights and want to have more than a hotel room.

Not only does the flat get a Walk Score of 94, its access to transit makes it very easy to get around the rest of the City as well. All of these bus lines stop near the flat and provide direct access to great destinations. The #1 California Bus gets you to China Town, the Financial District, a BART Station and the Embarcadero. The #3 Jackson Bus gets you to Japan Town, the Financial District, Union Square and a short walk to Moscone Convention Center. The #43 Masonic Bus gets you to Letterman Digital Arts Center (Lucasfilms), a few steps from the Marina District & Union Street, Nob Hill, North Beach, SOMA, NOPA, Haight Ashbury and a short walk to Golden Gate Park.. The #24 Divisadero Bus gets you to the Castro, Market Street, a BART Station, and Noe Valley.

  We, a party of 6, had a wonderful stay in this apartment. It is spacious, comfortable, very clean, well decorated and quiet. The location is perfect to visit the town. Clyde was very helpful. Many thanks. Definitely recommended. L'appartement a été parfait pour les 6 personnes que nous étions (2 couples et leurs deux filles) et pour la semaine que nous y avons passé. Tout était conforme au descriptif, l'appartement était très propre, la décoration soignée, la cuisine et les salles de bains bien équipées. Le "plus"de l'accueil (il n'y a pas de "check in" à proprement parler): un appartement agréablement et joliment fleuri. Le système d'ouverture de l'entrée par code (pas de clé) est très pratique. L'emplacement s'est révélé des plus agréables et facile d'accès. Nous craignions qu'il ne soit un peu loin du centre, il est en fait très bien desservi (bus) et finalement assez "central". Un grand merci au propriétaire,Clyde, qui a toujours répondu avec gentillesse et célérité à nos questions et autres emails. L'information fournie sur les transports, rues commerçantes, alimentation...est particulièrement précise et utile. Le Wifi fonctionne très bien. En un mot: on y reviendra avec plaisir.
