Enjoy quiet walks on the beach, early morning beachcombing, and spectacular sunsets over the ocean. Explore nearby hiking trails, lounge in the sun on the upper west deck or curl up with a good book near the woodstove. Enjoy first class cuisine or take classes in the popular EVO cooking school in nearby Cannon beach. The Local Area… Arch Cape is a special Oregon treasure. Ninety miles from Portland, it is a unique fusion of forest and sea. Arch Cape has over a mile of pristine, white sands beach, just minutes by car from Oswald State Park and the Oregon National Wildlife Sanctuary to the south and Ecola State Park to the north. It is a quiet, residential community with easy access to superb shops and restaurants in neighboring Manzanita and Cannon Beach, just 10 minutes away. Get the best of all possible worlds in this exclusive vacation rental! The Living area… Common area on the main floor includes a welcoming living room, full-sized family kitchen, and recently remodeled bathroom. A double futon sofa, wicker easy chairs and a European style woodstove are available for your pleasure. Fire wood is provided free! Cable TV with DVD and CD/Radio, in addition to DSL Internet access, are available in the living room area. A spiral staircase reaches to the loft-style upstairs sleeping quarters and sunny, private upstairs deck. Sleeping areas... There is a queen bed in the main level bedroom. The upstairs loft provides 1 queen bed and 1 full size mattress in a cozy corner at the other side of the loft. Lovely quilts & down comforters provide a comfortable night’s sleep. Additional features… Dogs are welcome at Woodsong, with a pet deposit. The beach is pet friendly. The house is fully equipped with linens and kitchen utensils. There are children’s books and games as well as vacation reading for lazy afternoons or evenings by the fire. Woodsong is located just off the west side of Highway 101. There is safe off-street parking for 3 cars and easy beach access. Two decks with patio furniture and lounge chairs are included for your enjoyment. The house is immaculately clean, fully-furnished, and non-smoking. For your convenience… When you make a reservation, we will be referring you to Arch Cape Property Services. We use Arch Cape Property Services because they do a great job, they are local and they have been managing rental properties in the area for many years. They will take care of all your questions, provide keys, and inspect Woodsong before your arrival. They also ensure that the house is absolutely spotless by partnering with "Carol with Care" a local professional cleaning service that has been in business over 10 years. A thorough 5-hour cleaning is performed after every rental and a cleaning inspection is made shortly before your arrival.
