Designer home with 360 Mountain Views and only 2 Miles to Historic Downtown!
This modern and spacious home was designed by Rick Feeney, a famous Durango Modernist. This home was built in 2006 and still comes across as a brand new home. There are genuinely 360 degree mountain views from almost every window.
It features a huge back deck, with very nice kitchen appointed with stainless appliances, and soapstone/granite countertops. In the living room you have a 32" LCD TV w/ Playstation 2 with gas fireplace with direct access to the back deck. The master suite features a queen sized bed, an oversized soaking tub and separate travertine shower with lots of storage for clothing. Downstairs features a new washer/dryer and 2 bedrooms, one with queen size bed and the other with a sturdy new bunk bed. There is also a nice sized den where 2 more kids or adults can sleep.
Your vacation home will be walking distance to a fabulous bakery called "Bread" that bakes fresh pastries and bread every morning! They also serve, coffee, espresso, tea, and sandwiches. You are also only 2 miles from downtown and less than 1 mile from the popular Animas Valley bike route and fabulous hiking trails! This home is a cozy, comfortable and cool place to enjoy your vacation.
