And the best part of it all is the location. You're within a short car ride of historic downtown St. Augustine, the oldest city in America filled with pedestrian walkways with shops, cafes and first class restaurants. We are also close to Daytona Beach and the Daytona speedway and museum. We are also only a 1 1/2 hour drive to Orlando and Disney World/Universal/Sea World as well as 1 1/2 hour to the Kennedy Space Center. Our rental is also a short car ride to Ponte Vedra Beach and PGA golf Course and TPC as well as Jacksonville with the brand new St John's Town Center (with a Costco), Avenue Mall and River Front Arcade. There is also a minor league baseball team and a professional football team and stadium.

Fantastic place to stay. Condo site is split beach/ bay side. Bayside is excellent with large pool and great gardens. Nearly every day we sat on seats, drinking coffee as the sun rose and saw all sorts of creatures including Dolphins and a manatee. A 5 minute walk to the soft fine sandy beach is easy and chairs/ beds are provided. The apartment is spacious and easily allowed a party of 4 adults loads of space and privacy when wanted. The owners are very friendly and keep the place in excellent condition. Also the area is very flat! It is a 10 minute cycle to Publix for groceries as well as Ross, Marshalls and Stein Mart. There are many restaurants/ bars within 3 miles from Turtles at Turtle beach, to bars etc at Siesta Village as well as those around the Gulf Gate area on the mainland. I would definitely return to Siesta Key and Excelsior if I needed a 2 room apartment.

We had a wonderful vacation in Siesta Key at the Excelsior. The condo was large with the amenities we needed. The pool and grounds on the bay side of this complex are very nice. The cost of renting this unit for 2 weeks was very reasonable and was much better than similar units in the same complex. My husband, daughter and I would all go back!

A great place to stay. Unit is large and comfortable, it is close to the pool and the grounds are beautiful. Beach is right across the street and the Excelsior furnishes the lounge chairs - a definite plus for us.
Recommended for:People with disabilities, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

The facilities, pool etc. were excellent. The private beach access and beach were wonderful. The unit was roomy and bright. It did need some updating and more appliances and utensils. The staff and residents were very friendly. We definitely would return.

This condo is an end unit on the top floor. Extremely quiet with huge master bedroom and large 2nd bedroom. The condo has new kitchen, raised ceilings, and a glassed in lanai where you can watch the boats come and go on the intercoastal waterway. The beach has the most soft, white sand we have ever seen. Just beautiful. The grounds are beautifully kept and resembles an English garden. Two extremly clean pools and spas, three tennis courts, gas barbeque grills, and a fishing dock, all right outside your condo door. We hated to leave but will definitly be back.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.
