Our custom mountain retreat was built in 2005 and has over 3400 square feet of living area with 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and large open living areas for group gatherings. Located about 1 hour from metro Atlanta in Coosawattee River Resort. This is a gated community of about 10,000 acres with 5 access gates and the river runs right through it! We are about 2 miles from the gate and have all easy access paved roads!
Main level is on the second floor. Large open kitchen with an island that seats 4, dining table that seats 8-12, and a breakfast table for 4. Gas remote fireplace, TV, DVD, video library, books and games provided for your enjoyment. Master bedroom with a king bed and private bath with a shower and Jacuzzi tub. Full laundry room with washer and dryer.
Upstairs bedroom with a queen bed and private bath with a tub/shower. Large ( 35' x 25') loft with two queen beds, large game or craft table, computer, desk and sitting area.
Downstairs, a finished basement. Game room with a pool table, foosball, game table, TV, DVD. Private bedroom with two queen beds and private bath. Outside a 40 foot deck right on the creek with a private hot tub.
Plenty of room for parking an RV or boat/bike trailer and multiple cars. Conveniently located to major grocery store about 10 minutes, Amicola Falls about 20 miles, vineyard with brunch and special events about an hour, whitewater rafting on the Ocoee about 45 minutes. Tubing and Kayaking from the General Store right in the community!
We have had groups of 20-22 people and there is plenty of room to spread out and not be in each other's way. We love to cook and enjoy a great meal together. The family time we have spent here is priceless. The downstairs basement area is great for the night owls who like to stay up late, while the rest of the house sleeps in peace! Come get away from it all!

Why the Owner Chose Ellijay
We love the seasons, the white water rafting, the small town with the little town square and the tubing in the resort. There are all the necessary shopping about 10 minutes from the house. Coming from Florida, it is all interstate and major divided highway all the way to Ellijay. This makes travel easy. The property is located in a gated community with lots of privacy. Our house sits right on a very noisy creek. If you are looking for a spot to unwind, it is heaven!
The Unique Benefits at this House
There are multiple levels for large groups to easily spread out and all get to enjoy their idea of the perfect vacation. There is a large porch with a hot tub situated right on the creek. An upstairs deck for reading, grilling out or watching the woods around you. Two satellite tv's on two different levels. A large well equiped kitchen with table service for 12. We love to cook, so the kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, spices, etc.

My husband and I are native Floridians and live on the Intracoastal Waterway on the Space Coast of Florida. We own a real estate office in Cocoa, Florida and have been full time Realtors in Brevard County for over 15 years. We have kids in high school and college and love to travel into Ellijay for family time together.
