Seaside has so very much to offer for your beach vacation. This unique beach community was the setting for the popular 1998 movie, The Truman Show. Seaside is nationally renowned and written about in numerous national publications for its unique "new urbanism" design and style. With its brick paved streets, beautiful homes surrounded by picket fences, beautiful white sandy beaches accessed through 5 pavilions, 3 swimming pools, fitness center, tennis courts and pro shop, croquet lawn, shopping, dining, live entertainment for adults and kids in the grassy outdoor amphitheater, live theater, and much much more, there is no need to drive your car once you arrive.
"Better Than Chocolate" is ideally located directly in the heart of Seaside on the corner of Forest St and E. Ruskin. All that Seaside has to offer for your enjoyment is within a 2 - 4 minute walk from our cozy home. Upon arrival, park your car in either of our 2 private parking spaces and leave it parked until you depart for home, after having a fabulous beach vacation.
"Better Than Chocolate" has been completely remodeled with beautiful furnishings and new kitchen appliances for your enjoyment. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking and dining ware. Relax on either of our 2 screened porches, or the hammock in the back yard while grilling delicious meals on the barbecue pit.

thank you so so very much for allowing my little family to stay in your home this past week. it rained on us nearly every day we were there and still we had such a wonderful time. your home is so cozy and decorated in such a cute way that we didnt mind being stuck indoors. we lounged around and played your board games and put together some of your puzzles. and then when the sun came out we were able to ride our bikes (rented from butterfly bikes as they seemed to have the best rate) and walk everywhere we needed to. we kept our car parked nearly the whole trip. i loved the location of the home and its closeness to the pools and playground. seaside is unlike any other beach town that we have vacationed and we cant wait to go back!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

The house is well-situated in downtown Seaside and is a quick walk to the beach. It's very spacious and well decorated. The owner was very helpful and easy to get in touch with. A perfect set-up for a family with kids. We'll be going back!

The house was outstanding on a number of fronts: located close to the city center and an easy walk to the beach; two bedrooms and two baths upstairs worked great for three teenage boys while we were downstairs in the master bedroom; two screened-in-porches; parking around the house was easy and convenient; and the kitchen (updated appliances) and eating area were the hub. The property was well-maintained and clean. We could not say enough about the owner and his willingness to make sure that we had a great experience. We had a minor issue with one of the bathrooms and it was fixed in less than 24 hours. This is an outstanding property which I would recommend to a friend and would rent if we ventured back to Seaside.

Tenth time to Seaside. First time in this house and will come back. The owner could not be nicer to work with. We had 4 adults and 2 children and plenty of room. You will be happy this this house.
