Accommodations:  Oceanfront Home, 4 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 4.5 Baths (Sleeps 10-12)

New(2005)luxury 3300+ sq.ft. ABSOLUTE OCEANFRONT home with panoramic views of ocean,stairs directly to sand beach, and beautiful marsh views. Plus a 1300+ sq.ft roof deck for weddings, entertaining, or quiet star gazing and a ground level 1300+ sq.ft. enclosed covered entertaining/ garage/ beach access/ multi-purpose area (better than a tent in case of rain) . The home has 4 levels served by elevator and wide, well lighted stairs . Beautiful heart pine floors set a comforting mood throughout the home . All bedrooms, living area, and game room have LCD HDTV's. Bed sheets, pillows and pillow cases, bath & hand towels, bath mats and kitchen towels are provided for up to 10 persons. We furnish starter toilet tissue,paper towels,detergents, brillo, windex and all the large black 33 gallon trash bags that can be used.For Queen and single sofa sleepers please bring your own sheets, etc. Catering is available.
Events fees are for the use of the house and premises . For your convenience you may use 8 banquet tables that seat 6 each,white cloths,and 60 black metal chairs that we reserve for those having events.
We do not take un-paid reservations within 2 weeks of check-in.

We are happy to show the house between rentals. Please call for appointment.

Level 4: 1300+ sq.ft. roof deck with enclosed cupola, wet bar & small fridge for weddings, entertaining, private sun bathing, or quiet star gazing

Level 3: the kitchen with quality appliances and lots of Corian counters and spacious cabinets in keeping with the beauty of the home. The dining area seats 12. The comfortable ocean view conversation area is around the fireplace (gas) with enclosed HDTV above. The adjoining withdrawing room faces the glorious marsh view sunset. The master bedroom with 2 queen beds, 2 baths, and 2 large walk-in closets is off a closable hallway (with washer/dryer closet) between the kitchen and the entry to this level. Also, the powder room is in the entry hall.

Level 2: All king beds. Second master bedroom with private bath and two other ample bedrooms separated by a tub/shower bathroom. the oceanfront porch and steps to the sandy beach are off a game/TV room, (with queen sleeper sofa ) that is common to the bedrooms and has a wet bar and 10' fridge. also, there is a small study, computer room, or nursery off the entry hall.

Level 1: Epoxy painted paved floors, painted walls, etc. 1300+ sq.ft. indoor garage, entertaining, beach access, multi-purpose area with enclosed shower and steps to the sandy beach and/or porch. Also, there is open off street parking for 4-6 autos.

  • On Sunday, May 24, 2009, my daughter was married on the beach outside this lovely home. The steps leading from the house to the beach were the perfect beginning of her walk down an isle flanked on either side by benches toward her smiling groom. No other decorations were needed because the fences on the beach and the ocean beyond provided an incredible backdrop for her ceremony. Her photographer was able to capture some really amazing pictures. Immediately following the ceremony, the reception was held on the rooftop. With tiny lights strung around the perimeter, lanterns on the tables, and wonderful views of the ocean, the lighthouse, and the marsh, no reception could have been lovelier. I definitely recommend this house for a small informal, fun wedding. The weather was really undecided about whether to rain or not (in our case not) but the first level would have been great for a back-up reception venue. Although there are four levels with steps between each level, the elevator provided easy access especially for the rental companies delivering tables, etc. to the roof. Having this elevator made life much easier for the caterer, too, who was very happy! The house is exceptionally clean with an unbelievably beautiful ocean view from the many windows. I was very pleased and hope to return at some point for a family vacation. The owners were easy to reach in very timely fashion either by phone or email which made our planning very pleasant indeed. This house was perfect for our destination wedding! The proximity to the beach is great and I can't even begin to describe how amazing the roof deck is. The views are incredible and were the perfect backdrop to our wedding. The owners were easy to work with. Most of our communication was via email due to the fact that I live 700 miles away, but they always got back to us in a timely fashion and worked with our needs. The house itself was perfect for our needs and acted as the gathering point for all of our friends and family. Plenty of room for house guests. This is one of the only houses on Folly that will allow an event on the property. This house helped make my wedding everything that I imagined it to be. Sorry for the delay. We got the security deposit check, thank you for that as well! We are already talking about vacationing there again next year. I’ll keep you posted! Thank you! Melanie

  • Three generations of our family recently enjoyed a week away at this nicely appointed house on a beautiful beach just south of Charleston. We found everything comfortable, pleasing to the eye and in good working order. High ceilings and windows,spectacular view, beautiful floors, modern appliances, room to enjoy each others company and share meals but nice separation,too, if one desired some quiet time.

  • I had my wedding at this home in October 2008. It was PERFECT! We were so overjoyed in finding this rental as it completely accomodated my fiance and my families. The property is exactly as described.. It was beyond perfect. Despite some rough weather, we were able to have the wedding of our dreams, right on Folly Beach followed by a sunset reception on the rooftop. The home was very clean, spacious, immaculate views and the owner was extremely kind and easy to reach. (If anyone has questions or is interested in having a wedding at the perfect home, and would like suggestions or tips, please email me and I will help the best I can!) We will DEFINITELY be back.   • We recently rented this property for our daughter's wedding in June and couldn't have been more pleased. The house was immaculate, spacious and comfortable. The rooftop deck was a fairytale setting for our rehearsal dinner and reception. Our caterer was very pleased with the elevator access and staging area. The easy access to the beach was perfect for the wedding processional and ceremony. All in all, the wedding was beautiful and was made so much easier by having everying at one venue, including housing family and the wedding party. I would highly recommend this house for any special occasion or for a family beach vacation.
