Across the street from the entrance of the Mahana is a grocery store, Star Market, along with a dive shop, gift shops, DVD rental store and a number of casual restaurants all within walking distance from the Mahana. Two blocks north of the Star Market, you can find a farmer's market where you can purchase local fruit, and vegetables, Hawaiian flowers and gifts. Just south of the farmers market is a fish market with fresh fish and the best "Poke" in town.

- GUESTBOOK COMMENTS: After several trips to Hawaii we say Mahana has alot to offer and we plan to return here on our next visit. Saw lots of whales and dolphins too. If you like fish you must eat at Mama's Fish House and Pacific Cafe in Kihei. Ruth & Bill Graham, IL.....Oh my goodness, what a glorious place this is. We saw so many whales. Too many to count. In fact they looked as if they were performing for us. The condo is lovely and the weather perfect. Hope we can come back next year. Ed & Sandy MI..... My first time on Maui and what a wonderful trip. My husband had been here before but says it wasn't as wonderful as this trip. What a wonderful condo wish we could stay forever. Why the Owner Chose Mahana
My father purchased this condo while it was under construction in 1975. He chose the Mahana because it was located right on the beach and every unit had amazing ocean views of Lanai and Molokai.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
Our tradition when we visit Maui is to go to BJs Pizza the first night because they have great Pizza and Mai Tais. At least one day of our vacation and after swimming and sunbathing on Kaanapalai beach we have Lunch at the Hula Bar and Grill located in the Whaler Village. At night we like walking up and down Front St in Lahaina, after dinning at Buba Gumps or the Lahaina Yacht Club. We always go to Napili Beach to snorkel and enjoy the beach. My favorite thing in the morning is to walk with my family along the beach south towards Black Rock. Its a beautiful and peaceful walk. Its also great exercise to work off the dinner and drinks from the night before.

A Great Place to buy fresh fish and the the best place on Maui for "poke'. Poke is raw ahi or tuna. Its great marinated in spicy teriyaki. With a ice cold beer in hand.

One of the best beaches for snorkeling and sunbathing. Don't forget to bring your underwater camera and fish food.
Voted the best beach on Maui. Great for body surfing and boogie boarding. Lifeguards are on duty.
A little walk to get to and the beach is rocky but the snorkeling is awesome. This is also a great place to surf if you like BIG waves.
