- If you love Quading or BMX...You can head up Hard Scrabble Road in Pine for awesome off roading. Your quads or bikes have to be street legal or you have to trailer your toys to the top of Hard Scrabble road. Or you can trailer your toys just 10 miles North of Pine to Rim Road #300 for hundreds of miles of off road fun at 6500 feet elevation on top of the rim, some of the greenest landscape in AZ. Or head down the hill at Strawberry for the coolest / deepest swimming holes in AZ. Full Grocery Store in Pine, 2 gas Stations, great breakfast joints too.

I took some of my youth leaders here and we had a wonderful time. The owner is very friendly and easy to work with. The home was beautiful, awesome back porch to grill on. We had a fire on the porch as well and made smores. The youth loved playing pool, I love the fact that they had great wi-fi and it was included in the cost. I would recommend this home to anyone who want to get away for a weekend.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

This place looks great on the internet and it is even nicer when you actually see it! It was spotless and a real treat for us to spend our Christmas there. The kitchen is completely furnished. You do not have to bring one thing from home in the way or utensils or dishes. The entire cabin is furnished with excellent taste. Hopefully everyone that rents this place will leave it in the excellent condition that they find it. They even thought of "kiddie gates" which came in handy for our great granddaughter for going down the stairs to the basement and up the stairs to the loft. The owners were gracious enough to even decorate a Christmas tree for us. We had considered bringing up a small artificial tree but that wasn't even necessary. I especially was impressed with how rapidly the owners would get back to me via email whenever I had a question. This cabin has my highest recommendation. (But don't tell too many people about it or it won't be available when you want it! ha ha)
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

The pictures do not do justice to this superbly appointed home! We were 9 persons, 5 adults 4 kids we never felt crowded. Kids had everything to keep them busy...and they pretty much left us alone...a good sign of a great place. They loved exploring around the home. The home is very well stocked with quality furnishings, both indoors and out. The location, the air, the quietness, the tranquilty was so great! (Do take a walk at night w/ flashlights pointed downwards....and take in the nights' air, silence and especially the stars... expect the occasional dog bark...you will be amazed that this place is just 1/12 hours away from Phoenix) The owner, despite his busy schedule/travels was amazingly prompt with is answers and very helpful with suggestions. This home was spotless...and I would highly reccommend it to "good/ reliable renters only"...as we want it to remain in as great a shape as we found it to be.... we have become pretty attached to it in a very short time....As soon as we can regroup we will definitely do this again and suggest it to good folk only!

This is a fantastic home for a very reasonable price. It was extremely clean and the owner was very responsive. The rent is very reasonable for such an outstanding cabin. There are plenty of games, books, tvs, dvd and of course, the basketball game and air hockey in the basement to entertain kids of all ages. We would definitely rent this place again.
