The cozy, casual atmosphere of Sea Trail is ideal for those discriminating guests searching for just the right combination of golf and beach in a warm weather community. Resort is 2,000 acres and contains three, top-rated golf courses and a forth adjacent to the resort. Golf is all-year round, and the beach season runs from late April until the end of October. Golf lessons are available from outstanding teaching professionals and the driving range and excellent practice facilty are only a five-minute walk from the excellent, central location of our condo. Grab a couple of clubs and take a five-minute walk over to the range after dinner . . . no excuses not to improve your game at Sea Trail!
Seductive Sunset Beach, voted best beach in North Carolina by Duke University, is only a mile from the Resort's southern gate. Accessible by a brand new multi million dollar state-of-the-art bridge (completed in November 2010), this barrier island beach is a breathtakingly beautiful, unspoiled community with no buildings taller than three stories. You can enjoy the tranquility of Sunset Beach and, when the mood strikes, explore all the various activities and night life of Myrtle Beach just 15 miles down the road. Interestingly, because the Island actually orients east-west, you are spoiled by gorgeous sunsets on the beach. (Hence the name.)
Area cuisine is virtually unlimited with restaurants overlooking the Intercoastal Waterway only minutes away. If you don't want to go out, you can order in from the outstanding menu at the Magnolia restaurant, just a five-minute walk from the comfort of our condo. Over 40 excellent restaurants in Sunset Beach and nearby Calabash known as "The Seafood Capital of the World". Well over 1000 restaurants in the Grand Strand area (within a one-hour drive)!

Our condo has a $20,000 upgraded package with high end furnishings and state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances, Corian counters, maple cupboards, and professional designer decor. You will not be disappointed in this beautiful condo. Sunset Beach in only one mile away (biking there is an option); beach chairs are available on the porch for your use. Three beautiful championship courses are located in the Sea Trail Resort. There's even a cooler available for cold refreshments for the beach or the back of the golf cart (Sea Trail allows a small cooler in the cart.) Reduced "staying on the property" greens fees are available. The driving range is only a 5-minute walk, so there will be no excuses for not improving your game!

We just returned from our stay at this condo, and it lives up to it's billing! It is extremely clean, with all of the amenities of home. On the nights we decided to stay in for dinner, the kitchen had everything that we needed and then some. All of the beds are extremely comfortable, and the flat screen TV was nice on our one rainy day! Sunset beach is a 5-minute drive across the bridge, and both Calabash and Ocean Isle are very conveniently just 10 minutes away in either direction. Sea Trail has great golf courses, and my 7-year-old son and I played the Byrd course (which runs right behind the condo). The rate was reasonable ($40 for 18 holes cart included), the course was in great shape and not crowded, and my son played for free! The pool shared by the Champion's condos was very nice to return to after a day on the beach, and we were often the only family there, so we had the whole pool to ourselves! So many good things to say about this place, it is DEFINITELY a great value for a trip to Sunset beach, and the owners were extremely accommodating throughout the entire process. We will be returning in the future, if you book this place you will not be disappointed!

Lovely condo unit! We were very impressed with this unit - very clean, beautiful furnishings and very comfortable. Beautiful view of the golf course from the screened in porch. We took advantage of the close proximity to the pool as well as the short drive to the beach. Sunset Beach is absolutely one of our favorite places! My family and I have been vacationing there for about 15 years now. The kitchen in this unit was by far the most well stocked (for cooking ware) and cleanest that we have found out of all of our stays at the beach. The owners also make available things like boogie boards, tennis rackets, beach chairs, beach towels - which you don't always find when renting a house or condo. The owners are so nice to deal with and wanted to be sure our stay was pleasant. We highly recommend this condo and we plan to return!

Wonderful - nothing more to say. We have visited a lot of places and this was a fabulous location! It felt more like home than a hotel room and was SO comfortable. Relaxation was the key word!

We truly enjoyed our visit at this condo. It is probably the cleanest property we have visited and in a great location. You have a gorgeous view of the golf course and it is convenient to the beach. There is nothing lacking in this property and one we would love to visit again,

We enjoyed our winter stay at the condo will be there in the winter as long as we are healthy enough to make the drive. It was our home away from home and enjoyed all the amenities especially the crock pot. We really enjoyed going to the beach and the golf courses, going to the Brookgreen Gardens, and the Boundary House is our favorite place to eat. We have enjoyed communications with the owners and hope someday to meet them.

Just returned from our stay here and this is a condo not to miss. If you are going to Sunset Beach or the surrounding area, be sure to stay here. It is so convenient to the bridge to the beach and using the north entrance, convenient to Calabash. The beds are most comfortable and the entire interior is clean and fresh. The owners are great to work with too!

We stayed at this beautifully appointed condo in December and just booked our return trip. If you are looking for a place where you feel more like a guest than a renter and enjoy quality, luxury and extra touches and amenities, this is the place! The condo and the area are wonderful!
