The pictures say it all - enjoy the best views from our fifth floor penthouse condo. We are the closest rental to the beach in the complex, on the top floor on the preferred sunny side of the complex - it doesn't get any better than this. From the spacious deck you can bathe yourself in morning sunshine, and enjoy the afternoon shade provided by the open beam roof. Enjoy the night lights of Puerto Vallarta and the miles of beach along Banderas Bay. We have binoculars so you can keep an eye out for the morning dolphin sightings. If you are there during the winter, the humpback whales are prevalent in the bay and can be spotted most days. There's always something interesting going on in the water and on the beach - fish, birds, dolphins, whales, crabs, turtles - never a dull moment.
There are 3 bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom, one with a queen and 2 with twin beds, 2 with ocean view patio doors. Each room has its own remote controlled air conditioner but why not open the windows and enjoy the gentle breeze off the bay and let the sound of the waves lull you to sleep.
Our fully equipped kitchen has just been renovated with wood cabinets and granite counters; our floors have new marble with riverstone inlays. Dine at the counter, or entertain at the dining table which seats 8, or enjoy coffee on the terrace with the morning sun, it's your choice. Barbecue that fresh seafood. Watch movies or satellite TV from our comfy leather sectional; check your email, we have wifi. For your convenience, there is a laundry/storage room with washer and dryer.
Have fun with the boogie boards and kayaks. Relax and read a book or magazine. There is an onsite library. If you're ambitious, take out our 2 bicycles for a spin to nearby Bucerias or Paradise Village, or checkout the Mega grocery store, it has absolutely everything you may need. There are some great coffee shops in Bucerias, fun for a breakfast bagel and coffee. We have maps and restaurant suggestions in our guest binder. Just remember to relax and have fun. Year Purchased: 2008
Hi, not our best photo, but we're so busy having fun that we don't have time for a perfect photo op. We are Ilona and Wayne Jackson from Stony Plain, Alberta. We look forward to retiring and spending our cold winters in Mexico, but until that happens we love to share our little piece of paradise. We are very active outdoorsy people and our favorite things are sailing, kayaking, cycling, and spending time walking up and down the beautiful beach. We have 2 sons in their 20's and they return to their childhood while visiting going surfing, boogie boarding, even building the occasional sand structure.
Why the Owner Chose Flamingos Beach & Golf Resort
We first visited friends in the complex and fell in love with the location. After deciding to purchase our own condo and looking at many other condos in the area, we were drawn back to Flamingos. And when we found this particular condo with such a great location in the complex, closest to the beach and on the top floor, we couldn't resist. It really feels like home.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
We were most impressed with where the condo is situated. We have perfect access to the beach, we can always hear the waves. We fall asleep gazing at the lights of Puerto Vallarta and wake to the morning sun. The views are second to none day or night. The complex is beautifully maintained and we feel safe and comfortable at all times. We are close enough to cycle wherever we need to go, yet secluded enough that we can relax and enjoy the quiet. We love to get out and explore the area; there are so many different things to see and do we never seem to run out possibilities.
