We had a wonderful time in the cabin. Everything we needed was there for a perfect trip. We had 5 adults and 3 children with plenty of room to spare. The pool table in the basement was fantastic. The cable in the downstairs bedroom wasn't working, but we had a wonderful time anyway.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

Two of our four girls (ages 9, 11, 11, 13) have never seen snow before. We decided to give it to them for Christmas this year instead of a pile of useless gifts. It took a little Google-ing and a few good reviews (the kind you are reading right now), and we got the Eagle cabin. We anticipated a tense trip from Sarasota County, FL through the frozen GA tundra (it was 19F!) to the snowed-in mountains of NC. However, the gods of traffic kept the roads clean and dry all the way to the last street. Walking up the mountain in knee-deep snow felt great after almost 12 hours of drive. The kids were in ecstasy. The cabin was immaculate, warm and spacious. It smelled nice and was very welcoming. There were seven sleds for us to choose from! The driveway is about 100 yards long. Need I say more?! Actually, I do: if you can deal with the switchbacks and have the skill (everyone did by the second day), it takes 3 minutes to sled down to the end of the street without stopping!!! The area is tranquil and beautiful. We’d like to see it in all seasons. There are five TV’s in the cabin, but we managed to not turn on any. The pool table and the card table along with the fire place went great with hot chocolate. We had four days of total bliss in and out of the place. We managed to stay in the “now” the entire time. We will definitely be back next year! Just returned from a wonderful stay here. Seven people in our group, and all agreed that it was a weekend to remember. The cabin is clean, and well maintained. All amenities were as advertised. The owners seemed to be truly interested in doing everything to insure a pleasant stay. Everyone agreed that they felt right at home within a few minutes of arrival. The cabin is located on a wooded lot on a mountainside at the end of the road, and is very secluded and peaceful. It is only about a 10 min. drive into Maggie Valley, so it is also convenient to any offerings there. We are already planning to return next year.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

It's such a lovely cabin! There is ample room for ten people, including bathroom space, and the fire pit in the back is wonderful. Everything we needed was there, and it's close to Waynesville, Maggie Valley, and Cherokee, so there are ample things to do. We enjoyed the movies and the game available in the cabin as well.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We stayed in the Eagle Creek cabins for several days in the month of May and it was simply amazing! The cabins themselves are constructed of gorgeous wood, with exquisite exposed beams and have plenty of room for multiple people to stay in them. The fire pit, game room, and large kitchen/multipurpose rooms were spacious and perfect. The surrounding wooded area was beautiful, and the babbling creek at the foot of the mountain makes for great exploring! There are many destinations within an hour's drive of the cabins which are located near the Ashville airport. Whitewater rafting, horseback riding, and the Blueridge Parkway to name a few. Definitely take advantage of the beauty of Maggie Valley here at these wonderfully situated mountain getaways!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

My family of ten [5 adults and 5 children ]stayed at Eagle Creek Cabin the week of July 26th till August 2nd. We loved everything about the cabin. Upon arrival a person would have thought there were ten children as we each ran in and out of the cabin admiring the beautiful log construction and layout of the cabin. Believe me if you choose Eagle Creek Cabin you will be more than pleased that you made the right choice. We will stay at Eagle Creek again.Did you find this review helpful? This Cabin is Fantastic. Well kept, clean and very accomidating. The owners are also very kind! It is very secluded, I recommend driving during the day, but overall the drive was fine!!! We had 8 adults, 1 child under 5 and dogs, and we had more than enough room. The firepit is awesome and again very well kept! I recommend this to anyone looking to get away but still have the availablility of a small town not far away. We will be back!!!!!! Thank you again Tami!Recommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
