This beautiful and private Tahoe City rental has a huge yard that backs directly up to the Truckee river. In the summer months the yard is perfect for outdoor games, sitting outside with a great book, swimming and watching the many river rafters coast by. In the winter months the house is ideal, as it is a short 5 minute drive to the Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows ski resorts.
The house was built by our family in the 1940's and has been maintained with our love and care.
There are three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a large plush king size bed. The middle room has a short twin bed (comfortable for one, but suitable for two if you don't mind being close). The third bedroom has a raised full size bed. The living room has a daybed that can be used for sleeping, but is set up as a sitting area.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave and all of the appropriate modern comforts.
It is an easy 10 minute walk along a beautiful bike path into Tahoe City and the north/west shore of Lake Tahoe, providing easy access to all of the restaurants, shopping and activities Tahoe City has to offer.
Long Term rental preferred for winter. 4 Night minimum stay required.
