A beautiful and historic 'Arts & Crafts' cottage near the Georgian coastal town of Lymington. Reputedly designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1908, and completely restored with traditional materials.
Kings Huts is in a wonderful location beside Upper Pennington Common. Close to Lymington and the coast but also within the New Forest National Park. In a group of six semi-detached cottages arranged around lovely sunny yew-hedged gardens. The cottages are included on the official list of 'Treasures of Hampshire'.
Inside this cosy cottage antique furniture is combined with modern creature comforts, including heating in the quarry-tile floors of the bathroom and rear lobby, and central heating, to supplement the open fires in the lounge and dining room. The detached garage was converted to provide a large and bright hobbies/games room, with its own WC. We try to provide everything you need to get your stay of to an easy start. Your beds are made ready with Egyptian-cotton linen, and tea, coffee, and cake ensure that you can relax as soon as you arrive.
The cottage has two comfortable bedrooms; one double and one twin. It is located about two hours away from central London by train or car, and about 90 minutes from Heathrow Airport. Southampton and Bournemouth airports are within 20 miles.

Just left a great place ......felt like we stepped back in time with a charming cottage from early 1900's but with truely modern hosts. Met at the door with a hearty and warm welcome from T and V. They explained all the needed info on the house/cottage and gave us info on the local area pubs, restaurants, sights, and walking maps. We had a great time here at King's Hut and the parking space was great when we returned from long explorations of the area. Isle of Wight was great fun.....ferry, bus and people were great. Walking in the fields and hills was wonderful. Pubs were well worth the fun we had in each of them in the area. Overall a great experience here at King's Hut and our hosts were great.....really enjoyed the welcome package of wine, cheese, bread, eggs, cake, and cheer. Thanks T and V for a great experience to your wonderful place.....keep up the good work.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing.
