The Sea Parrot Beach House was comfortable, beautifully decorated and in a perfect location in Port Aransas, TX. We had a group of 9 adults and children and we had the most relaxing time on the beach, shopping, eating and laughing. Our senior high school boys loved renting the golf carts to cruise around town without the adults : ) The area was beautiful and we had a wonderful time in Texas, having never been there before! I also had a chance to enjoy several runs on the beach : ) Yay!!! Love it Love it Love it!!!

We spent 4 wonderful nights at the Sea Parrot. This home is fabulous. This is our 4th year to rent a house on the beach for our family, and the Sea Parrot is by far the best house we have seen yet. We have now been spoiled. It is not like most rental properties. The house is decorated beautifully with amazing attention to detail. They even have the light switches labeled so you don't have to keep flipping lights on and off to find the right one. You won't find a better place to have your vacation!

Sea Parrot was Perfect for Extended Family Vacation of 9.5

Our family ranged in age from 1 to 80'ish and we found the Sea Parrot perfect for all of us. We did rent a golf cart to make "carting" all the necessary paraphernalia for the day (especially a 1 year old) to and from the beach. Obviously it would not hold us all, but my husband enjoyed running the shuttle. LOL. Once we got everything to the beach for the day, we walked back and forth for restroom breaks, lunch, etc. We were thrilled that everything was even better than we expected and look forward to returning to the Sea Parrot. :) In years past, we rented multiple units at a large nearby condominium complex, but really love the togetherness of sharing this beautiful home. :)

Vacation with our kids and grand kids

Barbara and Lee, our family had a wonderful vacation in Port Aransas and staying in your beautiful home was simply outstanding. The pictures on your website do not do it justice though. Everything we needed was handy and kept in great condition. The kids loved both the beach boogie boarding and swimming in the pool across the street. We setup a canopy each morning on the beach just a short walk from your home and it seemed to work very well for a place to rest between trips in ocean. The deck was where the adults spend a lot of their evenings building some wonderful memories together. The guys also played golf at the Newport Dunes and it was quite a challenge with no rough and a lot of wind but a very beautiful course. Just keep it down the middle as you have no rough just drop and take your penalty. Will definitely play it again! We also visit the USS Lexington in Corpus Christi bay and it is well worth the price of admission, highly recommend. Simply put, we all loved staying in your beautiful home and had a vacation we will always remember and yes we hope to be back...! Would highly recommend your home for small or large groups, we had 12 ( 4 kids & 8 adults) PS Carol does an outstanding job of having everything ready and organized for each new guest.

Wow! We so enjoyed our stay in the Sea Parrot! Barbara and Lee make it so very easy to rent their beautiful home. It is a true pleasure to work directly with the home owners versus through a middle person. Their attention to detail in the renting process and within their home is truly a part of the overall positive experience. You know that you are staying in their home versus in just a rental property by the way this beautifully decorated home has been cared for. There is amble living space, the kitchens were VERY well stocked with all kitchen tools needed to create some fun meals! We most appreciated how kid friendly the space was with secure areas and no access for them to escape down external staircases. The downstairs apartment being connected via internal staircase really makes those staying downstairs feel connected - if you so choose, or stay very private if that is more their style! Truly versitile, truly wonderful, truly convenient and most of all truly easy to arrive and depart. Thank you - we WILL be back again!

Home pictures do not do it justice. Only drawback is the ground burs which are everywhere in port a. Unbelievable beach. We walked miles on the wide beach. Home and beach about 4 homes, a stone path and a wood bridge to the beach...about two football fields length. You can fish directly from shore! Afraid to say too much good stuff as the secret will be out about this lovely home!

The Sea Parrot is beautiful, fun, warm and inviting. The pictures on the website are very nice, but they do not do this lovely home justice - it is much nicer than the pictures when you are there in person. The home is actually a home away from home; you would not ever think of this home as a rental home that has been enjoyed by many families. Our large family of 14 fit perfectly and comfortably and felt right at home. The three levels, as well as the outdoor areas with grills, patios and balconies, gave everyone a place to enjoy and visit with each other. We used both kitchens, the outside grills, the spa at the swimming pool across the street, and the fun golf cart! The children enjoyed watching television and playing in the "Pirate Room". During our stay, some of the guys enjoyed watching sports downstairs, while some of the girls watched movies upstairs, and the music channel was playing on the middle level living area for our 'chefs' to enjoy as they prepared delicious meals in the fabulous main kitchen. Our family came to the Sea Parrot from Dallas, San Antonio, Katy, Spring Branch, and the Florida Keys. The layout of the home is great! Sea Parrot was carefully and skillfully designed. The gentle ocean breezes, the sound of the waves, and view of the water make sitting on the covered balconies a pure joy. The decor is great and fun to explore. All of the little touches and thoughtful welcoming gestures at the Sea Parrot will delight you and make you feel special. Once you have stayed here, you will not want to stay anywhere else. Barbara and Lee, the owners, care about their home and it shows. Barbara and Lee care about you as guests in their home and it shows. We can highly recommend the Sea Parrot as a top quality vacation home for you in Port Aransas. On a final note, the Sea Parrot is located in a great neighborhood with considerate and friendly neighbors all around. You are close to the beach, great dining, and shopping. Enjoy!

My family had a great time at the Sea Parrot. The location was perfect and the house was very spacious and nicely decorated. The kids loved the pool right across the street and I loved that I could escape to the beach on foot with no worries. The balconies were awesome in the evening to sit back and rekax with the nice ocean breeze. My family will definitely be back to Port Aransas and the Sea Parrot. Wonderful and beautiful decorated house!! Every room is fabulous, and you'll find yourself just looking at all the artwork and decorations, you'll see something new everyday...Wonderful to have 2 kitchens...pictures don't due this house justice...it's a lot bigger in person!!! All balconies are spectacular...especially the 3rd floor! Can't say enough about The Seaparrot Beach House...the owners were wonderful, and we will for sure be coming back to Port Aransas and stay at the Seaparrot in the future!! Children love the Sea Parrot

Your home was perfect for our family, which included eight small grandchildren from ages 8 to 1. The children loved the bunk room and we had to rotate who slept in the room and on the top bunks each evening. The porches were a perfect place for children (and adults ) to hang out and relax. We brought two portable picnic tables and the children ate outside each meal. Because there were hoses on the porches, we were able to clean up any spills immediately. Unfortunately, we chose a time to visit Port A when the seaweed was at its worst! Hopefully, on our next visit that won't happen. We had plenty of room in this spacious home for our entire group and the short walk to the beach was doable for even the smaller children.

Great accomodations with plenty of space for our family gathering of ten. Children truly enjoyed the bunk room...excited from first to last day. Beautiful view,great breeze from upper balcony as we enjoyed our evening meals there. Short walk to beach and pool accross street added to the pleasure of staying at this (not a beach house, but a) home. Definitely will return and extend our stay.

Sea Parrot Beach House

What an awesome house. Everything was wonderful. The home owners were very helpful in giving us information about Port A and were very professional to work with. Wished I lived in this house. Every room had a flat screen TV. There were books and games for us to enjoy. The kitchen was beautiful with granite counters and had everything we needed. There were plenty of bathrooms in the house and the beds and bedrooms were great. The Sea Parrot was walking distance to the beach, it had great decks with views of the ocean. The swimming pool was across the street. I will definitely be back. My family and I had such a great time in Port A. Marti

Noisy Condo Complex Next Door

Beautiful house, nicely decorated, good pool, unfortunately there is a huge condo complex right behind the house and everyone partied in the parking lot (which you get to overlook from the balconies) until wee hours of the morning. Most of the houses in this subdivision are for sale, guessing this is why. Also, leave the house spotless as the owners are looking for something to keep your security deposit. All in my group were healthcare professionals where we kill germs for a living and we were accused of all kinds of nasty things in an effort to keep our money, so just forfeit it upfront save the owners the trouble.

Owner response:The Island Retreat is a very reputable resort. Their pool/common area is not located on the Sandpoint side. We have never had a problem with noise or anything from The Island Retreat, and never has any of my other guests.Coincidentally a Police Officer lives in the little house in the back of Island Retreat.Can't imagine much noise going on with him there. One of the men in this group told me they have stayed in the Sandpoint development several times, so very aware of its surroundings. Sandpoint also has a 10:00 pm quite time ordinance so if there were late time noise a simple call to the police would of solved this. Unfortunately this group did not comply with the room regulations nor check-out procedure, so my housekeeper charged a minimal extra cleaning fee for her extra time involved.. This is the first time she has ever had to to this.

We had a great weekend at the Sea Parrot Beach House, it was very clean, modern and roomy with nice covered decks. Very nicely decorated, you will feel at home! :) If you rent the whole house there are two kitchens so lots of room to keep food and drinks cold. A very short walk to the beach and there is a common area pool to use as well that was very nice. Washer and dryer came in handy since we had lots of kids with us! Generally, very nice and had everything we needed. The only thing it didn' t have enough of was toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, tin foil etc and bring your own towels for the beach!! Just about forgot, there is not a gas grill but there are two briquette grills to use so make sure you come prepared. Great kids room with two bunk beds and their own tv, they loved it!! There is tv's in every room, nice when you need a little break from the group. Port Aransas is a great vacation spot, lots of little shops and restaraunts with a fabulous candy shop! My husband liked the Marina and there of course is either bay or open water fishing available. Ferry can be busy at times getting back and forth from the main land but not too bad. HEB is on mainland and there is a small grocery store on the island. Owners of the beach house are very friendly and easy to deal with, we didn't have any issues with them they were great. All in all it is a perfect place for a vacation and the Sea Parrot Beach House is awesome!

The beautiful Sea Parrot Beach House was the highlight of our stay in Port Aransas! We loved the artwork from local artists and the fun but not fussy decor. Beds were very comfortable. There were ten of us and we never felt crowded. Our teen boys loved the plasma TV's and hung out together in the third floor living room. Good insulation made the house peaceful and quiet at night, which was very important during spring break week! Great location near town and also a very short walk to the beach.

We had the best family vacation at The Sea Parrot Beach House. This home is wonderful. Not only was the house very clean, (great cleaning person) the home was well stocked. Linens were very nice as were towels. Nothing shabby!! Beds were very comfortable and the furniture was very nice, leather etc. We felt like we were in the BEST of the BEST!!! Highly recommended this home for people who are looking for a higher end home and want to feel like they are being papmered in luxury.

We couldn't of picked a better house than the Sea Parrot. When we all walked in our mouths just dropped open. This home is gorgeous!! We just got back from this wonderful vacation home, with our family. The Sea Parrot Beach House is the best we ever stayed at!!!! We all loved the house. The owners are very nice and accommodating. We had the most wonderful time at the Sea Parrot Beach Home. Home is georgous, we can't believe it is a rental home. Boy did it rain, had a great lightning storm in evening. We all sat on the beautiful covered decks and watched the storm. Highly recommend this home for your vacation. This home is special.

We highly recommend the Sea Parrot Beach House. The house is very, very nice. From the furniture to a well stocked kitchen. Excellant matterress!! Want to thanks you guys for such a special home to open up for renters. Just to drop a line to say we we had a great time in Port Aransas, our family meets at different locations every year. And we needed a large house to accomadate all of us, the large decks were a real plus, and the beds very comfortable. The fishing was great, recommend renting a golf cart to get the feel of the island,the kids really had a blast. We'll be back again.

Fantastic house, had a very enjoyable time. To our surprise all the decks were tiled and covered. This house sleeps our big family of 14 very comfortable. The decorating was fantastic and we had a great time. We'll be coming back again!
