This unit (79) was finished in April 2009 so it is the newest, and we think BEST, at Monte Cristo Estates. Located Above the Famed Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach the Views from this Villa are of the Pedrigal area with it's multi-million dollar homes and stunning beach.

Don't sweat your way through your vacation!! Enjoy it!!!
It is also tucked away from the street so there is no noise to disturb you ~ you can even hear the sound of the ocean! \
The club house is a quick 1 minute walk from this villa and you are usually last on and first off the shuttle to the beach.
My family and I stayed here in 2009 and 2010 and had awesome experiences! If you don't rent it we will gladly go back!

Year Purchased: 2008
Owners Carrie and Barry Kroschel are from Leadville Colorado, North America's Highest Incorporated City located at 10,200 feet above sea level! We love the high country and enjoy the summers since the average daytime temperature is around 72 degrees in July and August! Winters are lots of fun too - we are avid snowmobiliers!
We purchased at the Monte Cristo in 2008 when we were visiting Cabo while staying at another of our timeshares here. We love Cabo and usually visit every year or two. We don't have kids so the adults come, sometimes friends join us, sometimes it is family... doesn't really matter as long as we all have fun! (Our profile picture was taken on board the CaboRey in March of 2009 when we had our family join us at the Monte Cristo and decided to get a closer look at the whales than the view of them we had from our villa!)
We are excited about the golf at the Monte Cristo and can't wait for the course to open up! Good for you though since we have adjusted our rental price accordingly!
If you don't rent from us we plan to use the unit again this spring.....
Why the Owner Chose Montecristo Estates
We chose Monte Cristo for a couple of reasons - the first being the golf! When the course opens our guests will receive a great discounted price on their golf excursions! We also like the fact that the Monte Cristo is part of the Pueblo Bonito family so we enjoy all the amenities this big chain has to offer but still have the upscale amenities and no crowds that a villa offers.
The Unique Benefits of this Villa
We chose this unit because it is the only one at Monte Cristo that you can actually hear the ocean from! It has a nice yard area, gets morning sun so it is cooler in the afternoons for siesta, and is the last stop down and the first stop up when taking the shuttle to the beach making it very convenient! We really enjoy having the BBQ grill on the veranda and cooking our lunch there - then we take the car into town for dinner every night - saves money but we never feel like we cheated ourselves out of a great experience. I LOVE the attention from the maintenance and cleaning staff here! I often have 2 or 3 maids in at once, and I have counted 5 gardeners all working at once!

The view from the pool/back deck is just spectacular - we watched the whales swim by - oh not too close, but close enough to the ocean that you could tell they were whales. The unit is beautiful and very comfortable. Not much that you have to buy to make yourself at home for however long you get to stay. You will surely enjoy your time there whether you spend lots of time right there in the unit, or if you come and go and enjoy other aspects of your trip to Mexico.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We spent 10 days at this property and it was truly the BEST Mexico vacation of our lives. We have traveled to 7 different cities in Mexico and this one was by far the most enjoyable. The Villa was perfect - our own swimming pool, hot tub, full kitchen, elegant bathrooms and I could go on and on! The view from the Villa was breathtaking from every room. We spent most of our time just relaxing by our very own pool, but enjoyed the convenience of the free shuttle to/from downtown to check out the restaurants by the wharf most nights. We are already planning on a return trip!
